HOTELS The Presidente InterContinental Puebla AAA Cuatro Diamantes is a reflection of the city's beautiful atmosphere. Puebla is home to historic sites such as the Chapel of the Rosary, a 17th century baroque church with impressive gold inlays, and the Great Pyramid of Cholula. Try the local gastronomy in the City of the Angels, as the capital city is also referred to, and enjoy the traditional poblano chicken and the famous chalupas.
6
Hilton Mexico City Reforma, offers a sleek international counterpoint to the rich architectural mĂŠlange of historic museums, embassies, and boutiques along Reforma avenue. ACTIVITIES MEXICO CITY, also known as CDMX due to a recent rebranding, offers great historical sites which are unmissable: The National Museum of Art preserves and studies exhibits of Mexican works of art produced between the second half of the 16th century and 1954, thus offering a global and synthesized vision of Mexican Art from this period. This important museum is indeed an advocate of our rich culture. The Faculty of Medicine has recovered the space of its old house, now converted into the "Palace of the School of Medicine", reconstructed in 1980 with care, but above all, with affection. It has been the object of constant renovation and upkeep of usable
spaces. The Palace of the Old School of Medicine, is a majestic construction of the Mexican Baroque. GUADALAJARA The Wax Museum is located in the heart of the Historic Center of Guadalajara, a few steps from the Degollado Theater. The Wax Museum opened its doors in 1994. It currently has a collection of 160 figures distributed in 12 thematic rooms in which visitors can appreciate historical, political, artistic, and sports personalities of
Mexico and the world.

La Catrina, either in its public or private facilities, offers a refined menu boasting a gamut of dishes made with genuine and autochthonous ingredients served in sophisticated presentations, as well as an excellent domestic cava and sought-after Tequilas.

HOT CHOCOLATE AND CHURROS Hot chocolate and churros? Yes, you heard right! It is a nice treat in many places such as in Latin America and Spain. There’s no arguing with the fact that this is one of the most delicious food and drink pairings whether you’re looking for breakfast, dessert, or an afternoon snack when having a sweet tooth. Have you ever wondered how chocolate came about? According to Wikipedia, scholars trace the origin of the word "chocolate" to the Aztec word "xocoatl," which referred to a bitter drink brewed from cacao beans. The Latin name for the cacao tree, Theobroma cacao, means "food of the gods." We then see that chocolate was widely popular a long, long time ago. Happily, it has now evolved into a sweet, addictive drink, or candy.
In order to partake of this decadent dessert for dipping, prepare the chocolate infusion as follows:
Ingredients:
•
4 oz. dark chocolate
•
2 cups milk
•
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
•
4 Tbsp. sugar
1. place the chocolate and half the milk in a saucepan over very low heat and cook, stirring continuously, until the chocolate has melted. 2. Dissolve the cornstarch in the remaining milk and whisk into the chocolate with the sugar. 3. Continue to cook on low heat, whisking constantly until the chocolate thickens, approximately 5 minutes. Remove from heat and whisk until smooth. 3. Pour chocolate into cups and serve with churros, and... dip away!

TravelTip: Easing the Fear •
Stop those thoughts. Your mind can either be your greatest asset in overcoming your fear of flying or your greatest enemy. When the plane encounters some turbulence, for example, instead of thinking about every bump, consider all the people at amusement parks who are spending their money to be bounced around on rides. Image the joy children have on roller coasters and vividly see their exuberant smiling faces in your mind.
•
Snap out of it. Before you get on a plane, put a rubber band on your wrist. When you have a negative thought about flying, snap the rubber band as a reminder to change your way of thinking.
•
Distract yourself. During the flight, divert your attention away from your fears with a good book, a good conversation, or the in-flight movie. (Taken from page 179) James Feldman, (a.k.a.
