Flying along with the
Blue-Bee Squad It’s been a great month. After such a long wait, finally, things are returning to normal, including business and visitors from all of our beloved destinations. So without further ado, let’s jump right into it. The most noteworthy news of this month was that we welcomed two amazing bees to our squad. Thus, this edition will be mostly focused on introducing both of them to you. The first introduction is our “Dominican BLUE-BEE” who we’ve been working with for some years now. It is great to say that they've just joined our team. He is a happy, sociable, bee who will be joining us in many adventures to come! Now, we want to introduce you to a BLUE-BEE from a new destination for IVI DMC Enterprises, meet the Argentinan BLUEBEE! He loves playing soccer and eating delicious “Choripanes”. Welcome to the hive! Finally at the end of the month, our team visited Four Seasons Resort Los Cabos, at Costa Palmas. We had a great time during our visit alongside Colin Daley, the Director of Sales. Thank you for your hospitality, and for being such a great industry partner. And that’s it for this section. To choose the correct entertainment you have different elements such as the characteristics of the group, the age, the size of the location and of course the budget you have for such an event, in this way the best option will be chosen. There are different types of entertainment such as local or cultural shows, fire or glow shows, musical groups, and many more. Creativity has no limits!

Mexican Spectacular Show at Xcaret Park One of the most spectacular shows in the Riviera Maya is Xcaret Spectacular Mexican Show. It is a journey through the history of Mexico from the Pre-Hispanic Era, passing through the conquest, the colonial era, the Independence of Mexico during the Revolution to the current time—a country with a millennial mix of culture and traditions that persist to this day. It can be combined with a delicious gourmet dinner and can be the best closing for any event.
Prehispanic Show It is a colorful display of ancient ceremonial dances that narrate how it was like Mexico before the conquest. Spectacular costumes and feathered headdresses deliver an impressive performance.
Fire Show It is a striking performance from different fire and stunt techniques that light up the stage. It is suitable for corporate dinners, product presentations, and more.
Glow Show Set on a futuristic scene, this show combines dance and juggling with the latest in LED technology. Every show can be personalized with special messages, company names, or logos.

Musical groups or bands are a great option for corporate events—whether to entertain guests during a welcome cocktail or brighten a closing dinner with live music. There are a wide variety of musical bad options, from a guitar duo or mariachi to a whole band with music for all tastes. It is very important to know the age range of the participants and their music interests in order to present the best option.
Mariachis This is the most emblematic genre in Mexico, Mariachi music is used to play at public parties, family gatherings, or serenades. The traditional mariachi attire is the charro suit. A mariachi band is a true Mexican experience for any corporate event.
Guitar Players
These musicians can play a variety of guitars such as acoustic or electric and in combination with other instruments to liven up any type of event. The most popular are the combinations of guitars and percussions.

Carlos studied at the Mexican School of Tourism (generation 77/80). In October 1980, he began his career in the hospitality industry at Fiesta Americana Hotels corporate offices, as a Corporate Sales Representative for groups and conventions. Then in 1981, he was promoted as Group Service Manager and Conventions at Hotel Fiesta Americana Guadalajara. In 1982 Fiesta Americana and Holiday Inn merged, consolidating as “Posadas de Mexico”, and Carlos was promoted as Sales Manager of the Hotel Holiday Inn Queretaro. In 1983, he was promoted as National Sales Manager of the Hotel Acapulco Plaza, and later as Sales Director of the Holiday Inn Guadalajara Hotel. Some years later, he worked for Camino Real Hotels corporate offices, and then he became General Manager of Los Sabalos Hotel in Mazatlan. He then continued as General Manager of Balboa Club & Towers in Mazatlan and finally as Operations Manager of Quintas del Mar in Mazatlan and Balcones del Caribe in Playa del Carmen. Later in his career, Carlos lived in Rio de Janeiro for 4 years, 3 years in Brussels, Belgium, 4 years in Florence, Italy, and then Basel, Switzerland.
