Mexico City’s Ecological Park Not everyone imagines stumbling upon a huge ecological park within the grounds of Mexico City. The ecological park of Mexico City is a 727 acre of protected territory dedicated to the ecological preservation by the city’s government. The main ecological role of the park is to be an important source of water. In addition, its extensive vegetation contributes to the production of oxygen and is home to a vast diversity of fauna, where we can discover a diverse species of birds.
The Arc of the End of the World The Park is located within the grounds of where the volcano “El Xitle erupted 1500 years ago and became a screen zone (or volcanic rock) as the ejected lava solidified. The place also holds a great part of the temperate forest as it is located at the skirts of El Ajusco. This is an ideal location to carry out Teambuilding activities, including bird watching, and special social events in this magical park full of life.
