Hi Guys!! Believe me, As a not so academically achieving Newport student, I know how much of a struggle school and homework can be. However, those shouldn't be a reason to shy away from keyclub. Instead of thinking volunteering as another exhausting task to complete, here at keyclub, we make volunteering into something to look forward to. Tons of new volunteering events, and the October dcm is coming up as well. These are all really exciting opportunities not just for completing you community service hours, but also meeting some of the coolest people out their. I think most of you would agree with me, since over 30 of you went to the last DCM! (I’m so proud) Don’t worry, even if you’re new to key club, I know all the information might seem intimidating, but I promise you, keyclub will feel like home in no time! In Love and Service, Leon Zhang

July DCM Recap! Hey Key Clubbers! Last Month, D28 and D32 came together on July 15th to make blankets for KCCP and hang out at Henry Moses Aquatic Center. Not only was it a lot of fun to screw around with Peter Ch’en (go ask Mino or the others), you get to hang out with other people who are dedicated to Key Club. ALSO SWIMMING AT A WATER PARK TOO. AND YOU GET TO GO EAT WITH PEOPLE TOO. So if you missed this one you should go to the one in August. I promise it’ll be fun. I think. Go.

RECENT EVENTS!! We recently had the Salmon Days event located in Issaquah where we had Key Clubbers go there to help out with the Kiwanis stall or to help do set-up, breakdown, or manage other booths around the area! Not only was it a fun experience, Key Clubbers also bonded over volunteering and it was a great event overall!

BACK PAGE Hey Key Clubbers! With a month into school, it kind of feels like it has been too long already. I agree. And that’s why you can turn to DCM’s or service as outlets of stress wihich helps to benefit you twofold. 1) It helps you to destress by doing something to help benefit your community or other non-profits. 2) YOU GET TO DO SOMETHING THAT IS FUN AND HOPEFULLY YOU ENJOY!!!!! So what are you waiting for (besides the date for the next DCM)? In love and Service, Ivan Zhao
