INTRODUCTION
Our Mission
UR PRODUCT
More than just a boot Our winter boots are built tough and sturdy, made to withstand the worst of conditions and protect you in the most efficient way possible. These shoes are here for you. The materials used are the toughest in the industry but still comfortable for your unique fit. The heating technology is battery powered to make sure your toes stay toasty warm through your whole journey. Even though performance built, these are still constructed with practicality in mind. Slip resistant and durable they are tactile for day to day use. It goes beyond even that, our jackets, snow pants, gloves, hats, and scarves will keep you warm and comfortable whether you’re braving the cold or going to enjoy your favorite slope-side activities.
UR LOGO
Who we are This is our logo at Alpenglow. A logo represents not only a company, but it reminds us of our personal relationship with that company. Our logo uses an abstracted typography for “alpen to represent snow capped mountains. The line-work swish represents the aurora borealis for Alpenglow’s roots in Alaska. The ring around the logo represents the Earth, because our brand aims to make you as comfortable as we can while you enjoy the great outdoors. Never separate the type from the logo unless one of the approved variants is being used. Never separate the mountain marks from the aurora borealis. Also never separate the circle from the other elements of the logo. This is a carefully crafted mark, and should not be dissected.

URORAL ZON
A natural light display Here you can see all the colors that light up our night sky. Our palette has been carefully crafted and planned in such a way that it represents the aurora borealis to the fullest degree. In any form of branding these are the colors to be used. When dealing with the logo mark, the colors should appear exactly as shown. The logo should not be all one color unless it is the black or white version. In certain cases, like in specialty printing situations, you can use a holographic ink or pigment in substitution of the gradient. The aurora borelis part of the logo is a gradient pictured on the right. It should look exactly as it is shown starting with the darkest color on the left and moving to the lightest color on the right.

HEADLINE
We always want to make sure that our logo is readable and legible for all eyes to see. So we have some rules when it comes to sizing and the space that should be left around the logo. The clear space around the logo should always be free of text, imagery, and other graphics. The clear space should be as wide as the “n from the main logo. There is logo variations pictured to the left that show if the logo is being used below a certain size which version to replace it with so it stays readable and recognizable.

YPOGRAPHY
Not just words on a page Typography, to us, is so much more than just words on a page. Typography has a voice of its own, and we want to make sure that the voice it has matches what our brand is communicating. We use Futura Condensed Extra Bold for headlines and important words on a page. It should always be used in upper case and never lower case. For any other type we use Futura because of how open and wispy it feels. We think it’s a really strong match for our brand message.
Mason Sans OT Mason Sans is the typeface used in the logo. This typeface should appear no where else but in the logo itself.

We love our logo, and our customers recognize it the way that it is. It should not be changed, altered skewed, or simplified. Please don't stretch or distort the logo. Don't add any new elements, shadows, or effects. If you need to use the black version, please use the one provided and do not outline the stroke. We know it's tempting but don't mix and match parts of the logo or move the type around. Go by the classic rule of thumb, if you have to question it, don't do it.

PPLICATIONS
Last but not least Here are some of the many examples of our logo appearing in every day life. You can see the wide range of usage that it falls into, and all of the proper uses for how it should be displayed at both small and large sizes. We really are just looking to bring you comfort and warmth when there is a chill in the air, and we want to make sure our brand is portrayed and remembered the way it should be. We're counting on our logo for that, so always make sure it's looking it's best. Also make sure that it's being used the way it was meant to be. Thank you and we hope to see you on the slopes or outside enjoying the cold!
