Jack and Jill of America in 2020, Natural Grocers is launching two fundraising efforts starting on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, January 20, 2020.
On MLK Day 2020, 2.5% of all Natural Grocers sales across the country will be donated to the JJOA's GAP Fund. The sales-based donation goal for the day is $60,000. Additionally, starting on MLK Day 2020 and running through Black History Month (February 29, 2020), Natural Grocers' customers will have the opportunity to make contributions directly to the JJOA Gap Fund at any one of Natural Grocers' 154 store locations. The fundraising goal is $60,000 of customer donated dollars.

PARTNERSHIPS
One of goals of the NEB was to enhance our corporate partnerships and provide options for our Chapters to execute their programming with these partnerships. We breathed new life into our partnerships with: This past summer, we were invited to apply for a grant from The American Red Cross for $1,000 to support our #JJSWIMS program. In September, the National Programming Committee purchased 50 Swim bags equipped with a bag, swim cap, and towel and donated to Mettle Fitness, located in Chicago, IL during our planned retreat. We also used the resources to pay for one swim lesson for the children participating in this cohort. We are continuing to work with and encourage Chapters to consider the new options we showcased with our March of Dimes partnership. Chapters can now partner with the March of Dimes beyond Marching for Babies with 9 options that provide direct support to the families and infants in Neonatal Intensive Care Units and Hospitals in the 247 areas that we serve!
