What can we say here at Miss to Mrs about You need someone whom you feel relaxed with on the Lynsey-Ann P hotography! Well for a start she is day, so that they can get the best images from you. a lovely person and she loves anything vintage, which Treat your photographer like you would choose a translates straight through her lens too!!... (So friend! thumbs up from us!). suggests that you check out her You really must check out her Social Media and Lynsey online portfolios. Websites, her work is fab! Here’s what we learnt from This will enable you to have those first glimpses of her work without pressure from our chat with Lynsey. Lynsey is a UK and international photographer anyone; you can view as many times as you then as well, which is perfect for and is looking forward to shooting weddings in Eu- like furthering your inspiration!! rope next year, where she will take her vintage ethos But after emails and all that Jazz Lynsey along with her. How should you contact Lynsey? Well, you can contact Lynsey with ease through her sites. I don’t know about you guys, but using social media can help a great deal when you are so busy prepping for your day. We asked Lynsey which method she prefers; after all you really do need to get to know your photographer personally. As they will be with you the majority of your day capturing memories and mixing with guests as they take their reportage style photographs.
We thoroughly suggest getting in contact with Lynsey-Ann Photography via: www.facebook.com/LynseyAnnPhotography www.lynsey-annphotography.com
recommends her free consultation service; this is where you get to meet your photographer, the person behind the camera. Lynsey feels it’s important to know her clients personally via chatting openly about how you see your day unfolding.
Which we feel at Miss to Mrs is really important, because you need someone to understand and see your vision and to go beyond what you imagine. This is why it’s important to choose a professional photographer. Because this is what you invest in! You need someone who is a real treasure keeper! So why Vintage, why is this your preferred style Lynsey? “I truly believe that your style comes from where you feel the most comfortable. For me I photograph how I would want to be photographed. The twist of vintage comes from what I love; I love the golden era, sepia tones, vintage clothes and designs, things that don’t match. The natural and unobtrusive side comes from what I believe creates the best memories. When couples look through their wedding images I want them to show a true individual and honest reflection of their day. Every wedding is different and they all have amazing moments and I like to let these moments just happen and unfold naturally”.
Wow Perfect..!! What a great ethos to have. Well we just love this way of thinking here at Miss to Mrs. It’s very true, be yourselves on your wedding day. After all it’s your day, and it should ref lect who you are!

Written by Claudia Burns Seeing as we are focusing on a winter wedding, the food for the day needs to be warming and comforting. Many companies provide hot chocolate bars which can be waiting for everyone after the ceremony. The hot chocolate can be already made up or some companies offer the choice for the guests to actually make their own hot chocolate. There would also be goodies laid out for guests to put into their drink such as marshmallows, cream and sprinkles which will provide a touch of entertainment for your guests as well! You could also serve mulled wine which is the ultimate winter tipple and will go nicely with perhaps a cheese fondue. This is another interactive part for your guests and will get them involved with the meal. Along with the fondue, there could be all kinds of warm bread and vegetables to dip into the cheese- companies usually offer either one big fondue or a selection of small ones depending on how many people will be attending the wedding.
Thank you to Anna Clarke Photography for the amazing winter wedding photography which features on the front page & page four of the magazine, every general feature page and various other pages throughout the magazine.

We hope you enjoy this review!

THE place is so welcoming, not only
through the people but the boutique styled décor - wow! Cocktails, cocktails, cocktails, such a great variety of choice so I tried a few. Each and everyone tasted great. And the food, my gosh it was just perfect! For a starter I tried Sautéed wild mushroom and tarragon rarebit followed by one of their specials for my main course; fillet of steak with Boulanger potatoes and baked tomatoes. My mouth is watering just thinking back to this. To finish I just had to have the vanilla
cheesecake with berry compote, delicious. Also, getting to have a little look around the place, you could imagine holding a party or a hen night, but most importantly you could really see how you could plan your big day around this beautiful venue. The amazing staircase is fab and I fell in love with the large chandelier hanging in all its greatness in the centre! So pretty. I would give a massive thumbs up overall and I know I shall be recommending the place highly, and be back there again mysef too!!”

Written by Claudia Burns
Being a winter bride is all about capturing that ultra-romantic yet sophisticated bridal look- Elsa in the Disney hit Frozen comes to mind! We all know how the dreary winter weather can make our face look a bit dull and grey so the biggest make-up tip is to create a winter glow by using products such as some under-eye highlighter to banish any dark circles the early winter mornings may have caused. Look at products like YSL’s famous Touché éclat highlighter or for a cheaper alternative, Rimmel’s Wake me Up concealer is fantastic. Adding a hint of shimmer in your eye make-up is also another way to awaken your face and make your eyes pop- think white, purple or silver glitter eye-shadows. Moving on to lips, if your wedding falls in the middle of the Christmas season, consider going for a bold red lip which is uber romantic and will tie in with the Christmas colour palette. You could also make your lips appear extra glossy with perhaps a touch of lip-gloss- again YSL have just bought out a collection of lip-glosses which contain added glitter and shimmer. Just don’t use shimmer on more than one part of your face; I’d suggest doing your lips or your eyes, not both. In terms of winter skin, concentrate on warm glowing hues. We all tend to look pale in winter-men included so maybe invest in a good self-tanner to give you a healthy glow yet ensure you choose something that will look natural, we don’t want a tangoed bride and groom on the big day! Also the winter weather can make our skin dry so look for a nourishing moisturizer for both the face and body as well as a rich body oil to give you that desired radiant lit-from within look.

Silk Skin BeeBee Cream is an Anti-ageing Makeup, so gentle for your skin, you can even sleep with it on. Containing Hyaluronic acid and Heavens unique patented ABEETOXIN® ingredient, developed by Deborah Mitchell. This is the ultimate in firming treatment makeup, in luxury designed packaging.
Heaven Hydrogels are the first treatment toner of their kind, featuring a self healing, specialised type of polymer hydrogel (a macro molecular polymer gel constructed of a network of crosslinked polymer chains). Hydrogels are syntheised from hydrophilic monomers by either chain or step growth, along with a functional cross link to promote a network formation. A net like structure with void imperfections enhances the hydrogels ability to absorb large amounts of water via hydrogen bonding. As a result hyrdogels develop characteristic firm yet elastic mechanical properties, resulting in high efficacy treatment toners for your skin.

BRING ON THE Fur
Written by Claudia Burns
Clothing for winter weddings is all about keeping warm whilst still trying to look elegant, particularly if you are having photographs taken outside! A gorgeous white winter coat is the perfect accessory for your gown and so is a lightly colored fur jacket which will keep you looking bridal (as well as warm and happy) during any outdoor photos you may have. For your wedding party, work with a chic and sophisticated colour palette- for example if you are choosing red accents for your day then make sure the dresses match all of the red accessories. A popular colour dress for a winter wedding is a champagne hued gown. It will work great with any colour accessories you choose and will also look amazing with a dramatic train trailing behind itwinter is a great time for a wedding as nothing can overpower it so you can be as a dramatic as you like in your style choices! You could also include embellishments on your dress, for example a design on the train reminiscent of snowflakes. As well as keeping you warm, keep the flower girls cozy with fur wraps and pretty boots and for the bridesmaids, provide them with fur stoles and elbow-length gloves- this will scream winter wedding chic! All of you could also wear matching capes which will look great in the photographs and again, will be in keeping with the winter theme.

ICE ICE
Baby
Written by Claudia Burns Jewellery for a winter wedding should encapsulate stones such as crystals and diamonds- picture frost or ice on a winter’s day; silver toned jewellery allows you to recreate such an image. Some jewellery companies usually feature crystal wedding necklace sets which will look dazzling and better yet, it doesn’t have to break the bank if you look in the right places. For a winter wedding more is more, so you could pair your crystal necklace with matching earrings and a bracelet which will majorly dress up your outfit and make you look like a beautiful ice queen- in a good way! Recently on one of my many shopping trips, I came across a jewellery store which stocked bridal tiaras which were in a light blue silver and plated with crystal snowflakes which I thought was an amazing creation so maybe try and incorporate little details like this to bring your winter wedding look to life. Of course you don’t have to choose silver jewellery. After my research into winter weddings, something outside the box would be to have red jewellery which would look just amazing paired with a red lip or a red bridal bouquet of flowers. Look for ruby necklaces or earrings – this will also tell your guests you are getting into the Christmas spirit and I’m sure it will not be something they have seen before! You can be as creative or demure as you like, just be sure to capture that special wintery feel in your choices to really fit in with your theme.

Miss to Mrs magazine’s first wedding fayre was a great success. Exhibitors and future brides travelled from all over the country to be a part of what proved to be a unique, #neverdonebefore event, hosted in partnership with KK Events. With a special thanks to EM Arts & Vintage Photography for such special images from the day. And check out an awesome video encapsulating the day by LeaLizzie-Productions. Pre-Fayre Party
So with doing an original-style wedding fayre, we thought we would do something different - a pre-fayre party. This was primarily a chance for exhibitors to get together over a drink and a dance, ultimately making it a great, friendly atmosphere on the day itself. This one
went so well, that we have decided to do a breakfast banquet before our ‘White Wedding Fayre’ on the morn of the event (check out page two for more information about the ‘White Wedding Fayre’). We want to thank The Darkness tribute band, aptly named The Darkmess who created an awesome, upbeat party atmosphere through their classic rock anthems. All in all it was epic!
Band: The Darkmess
SNOWd r o p s Written by Claudia Burns It’s the little things that are often the most important so taking time to perfect the special touches to your wedding will make the world of difference. Surround the reception room with candles nestled in red berries- these can also be used as favours by adding a little card with a message on around the base of the candle. To match, you could also decorate the chairs along the aisle and in the reception room with ornaments and more berries to tie everything together- the berries do not have to be red, just go with whatever your colour scheme may be. Another idea is to surround the windows with garlands and twinkle lights which will make the room look beautiful yet extra cosy which will really bring to life your winter wedding theme. Instead of having flowers, you could use white birch branches instead which can be adorned with feathers, twinkle lights and crystals; this will give the branches an almost ‘frost effect’ which will make the room look like a winter wonderland! A great idea for a favour is presenting your bridal party with pretty slippers to keep their feet toasty whist getting ready and for something to give to all your guests, perhaps organise a wintery photo-shoot beforehand of yourself and your groom and then use the picture on holiday cards which can be placed at each seat and have a special note inside.

Choosing a headpiece can be a very overwhelming task as there are so many choices available. You want to choose something that suits your personal style. Think about the colour , size and how you want to wear it. Do not leave it to the last minute as you need to try it when meeting your stylist. You may have an idea but unable to find it, I hope to make this a stress-free enjoyable time. Here at Angel Whispers Tiara's & more I enjoy making bespoke pieces personal to you. Making it from what ever you like. Choosing stones can be a very personal thing as they have special meanings. We all know that the rose quartz guides us to love
and a peaceful marriage but did you know that Jade, Turquoise, Blue Quartz, Moonstones and Topaz are love stones too ? There is no one perfect pattern for tiaras the choice is your own. Traditional tiaras offer the most dramatic look, and work with everything. A bridal headband is the ideal compromise for brides with hair too short for other accessory options. Bridal combs can be worn with almost any hairstyle. Some resemble tiaras, while others are worn at the side or the back of the head. Be sure to make sure that all the pieces of your bridal ensemble work together and that no one piece overwhelms another.

From the very first contact with a new bride to the wedding day and beyond I strive to exceed expectations. Here are my top tips to help you find the perfect stylist for your wedding day. Ask your friends for recommendations, they are priceless!. Check out the stylists website or facebook page, is it up to date?, do they have lots of unique reviews (not just ones from people with the same last name). Do their pictures show a varied repertoire of styles on real people (not just on Dolly's) and pictures of real brides?. Contact your chosen stylist, brides usually contact me initially via email through the website or via Facebook, after which we arrange a free consultation in my lovely home hair parlour. I encourage brides to tell me all about their big day from the theme, colour scheme to the all important

As I drink my morning coffee while reading the delights of Facebook, I suddenly see a comment regarding photographers that steal other photographers work from the internet. For the purpose of passing others work off as their own!!! . WHAT!! Yes, as their own!! Couples were left with work that did not reflect the style of work that they had originally fallen in love with. So how can you avoid this? Well.. I cannot say to you, that a cheap product is an inferior product! But I will say be careful of wedding packages that seem too good to be true, because they often are. I have been the rescuer of many a wedding in my career. What I will say is, do not rely on the internet alone as your only form of research. Go and see your pho-
dress and accesories, this helps me to get to know my bride and what kind of a day she is planning. Take lots of pictures with you, hair styles you like, your dress, your venue and even your cake as it all tells a story. Your stylist will then be able to picture the perfect style for you. When you go for your trial ( and on your wedding day) it's always better if you wash your hair the day before, freshly washed or damp hair is very difficult to work with. Do not be afraid to speak up if your hair isn't exactly right, your stylist won't mind at all, it will give them a chance to try something else, after all that's what trials are all about. Be realistic about what you would like to achieve, does your hair hold a curl normally?, if not a down 'do' May not be right for you, you want to look just as fabulous at midnight as you did when you walked down the aisle, listen to your stylist and let them guide you to your perfect style.

tographer, understand what you are paying for? Look at their display products, prints and most of all what are they like, would you want them on your day? And would you be happy to work with them after your day? Are they insured? Are they parttime/full-time? And most of all will they be your photographer on the day!! I work from my studio and home, and my clients can come and see me in which ever one suits them best; they see my work up close in print and my display products which I have invested in, which of course means that I am committed and value my product. I would adopt the same attitude throughout the industry see the product meet the person!
Princess Occasions was formed in May 2012, by myself, Charlotte, after I planned and styled my own wedding! Having two beautiful babies, Ollie and Maisie Belle, I was the typical 'Bride on a Budget' but struggled to find a company who could achieve what I wanted for my teeny tiny budget! I therefore decided to do everything myself! How hard could it be?! My theme was 'Sweet Hot Pink' and so the styling was very modern with lots of pink and subtle hints of silver. Balloon centrepieces epitomised my girly, carefree nature! I had pink table names such as candyfloss, bubblegum and Rosè! Pink heart biscuits doubled up as place card favours and lots of pink and silver scatter crystals filled the tables! And this was the moment I fell in love with venue styling! I saw a niche in the market - beautiful styling at reasonable prices, 07526008740 | PRINCESSOCASSIONS@HOTMAIL.CO.UK WWW.PRINCESSOCCASIONS.CO.UK
fit for a princess! I therefore left my job as a retail store manager and started the business full time! I currently offer full bespoke venue styling, including centrepieces, decorative displays, chair covers, candy carts, hanging lanterns and pom-poms, staircase draping, and various items for hire with my portfolio always expanding! I love my business and feel am the luckiest girl in the world
