What's up D5 Family ! OMG SUMMER IS ALMOST HERE! And I hope everyone is doing fantastic with school ending and the summer fun beginning. However doesn't mean Key Club slowing down, there is still much work to do and it's only the start of the year. April and May had to to be the two crucial and craziest months for me by far. With trying to contact clubs, keep up with events, schedule and overall getting information fluctuating with your guys. So my apologies for those mishaps and I promise you it will not reflect the rest of the year. But I want to give a big thank you to all of you from Division to District who has been patient and so helpful, Thank you so much. I know we are the hardest working division and can't wait to meet all of your at our Training.I know that our Director of Events Lyda Bowen, Director of Communication Abril Mejia and I have been working vigorously to make this training resourceful and fun. This year my goal is to have a big impact while having fun. This means that I want us to do whatever we can in communities, schools, and etc to make a huge impact while enjoying the essence of selfless work. I know we can accomplish this and even more if we put our minds, hearts, and bodies to do so. Hope everyone has a wonderful summer break and continue to be awesome!
In your service, Jada Hudgins 2016-2017 Division 5 Lt. Governor 01

Not sure what to do for next year? PLAN THIS SUMMER!! Meet your officers once or twice throughout the summer so the school year runs smoothly! You can meet at a cafe, someone’s house, or even through video chatting!
2016
SUMMER What to do?
Get Ready for Freshmen Orientation! If your school has one, take advantage of this! This is an awesome opportunity to recruit new members for your club. Ask if you can set up a booth with posters, brochures, and pictures about what you do in Key Club. Also, have members sign up to talk to interested members and have a sign-up sheet available for them to put their contact information down (name, email, etc). Freshmen are trying to find where they belong in high school so be sure to focus on them! I am also willing to help recruit at these events. I highly encourage you to promote increasing membership
