FASH 419 Project. The brief was to create a magazine of at least 20 pages that includes an original photoshoot, 3 trends, 3 interviews, and at least 5 advertorials. The theme of my magazine is sustainability during ad after covid-19 since it is relevant during thing time and I made this magazine in quarantine. The three trends I touched on was DIY painted clothing as an activity to do in quarantine, the rise in thrift shopping, and clothing made out of recycled materials. I did an original photoshoot for the DIY painted clothing trend shot on my IPhone. The 3 interviewees were Harley Delcogliano (Her experience in thrifted finds, Sean Tsun (How thrifted style influences his music and image), and Alec Marmins (His approach to DIY clothing). This magazine is targted towards teens and young adults since they are the future of the planet and pays attention to the fashion industry the most. I named the magazine "Hei." because "Hei." is short for "Hei Hei" which means "Destruction of the norm" in Hawaiian.
