Foreword

Foreword from the President 25 years of history with the same motto: #TogetherWeGrow It is a pleasure and an honor to present you the JADE Annual Report 2016-‐2017 on behalf of the JADE Team, and to introduce the activities and developments that the Junior Enterprise movement carried out and achieved in this past year. These are special years for the Junior Enterprise network: In 2017, the first Junior Enterprise turned 50 years old and the European Confederation of Junior Enterprises turned 25 years old. This year has been a crossroad to reflect on all that has been achieved in the past 50 years, on the impact that the Junior Enterprise concept has had on society, on all the students that have been through this experience that changed their life. This has been a history of collaboration, cooperation, co-‐creation. For 25 years now, Junior Enterprises of different countries around the world have worked and grown together under the same vision and motto: “Together We Grow”!

Yann Camus JADE President 2016-‐2017

The year 2016-‐2017 started with the biggest Junior Enterprise World Conference (﴾JEWC)﴿ ever held, gathering more than 3500 Junior Entrepreneurs from all over the world. This event saw the creation of the Global Council, clearly stating that now our concept is a global one and that Junior Enterprises are being created on every continent. With Junior Enterprises and initiatives in more than 40 countries, we are bringing this amazing experience to an increasing number of students. Throughout the year, we benefited from our amazing partners that were with us along the journey -‐ a special thank you goes to Simon-‐Kucher & Partners, Covestro, Microsoft and Wavestone, with whom we will keep working next year. We have also been collaborating more and more closely with the European Commission and the European Parliament, that we can count among our most valuable supporters. In particular, after having received a testimonial of former President of the European Parliament Martin Schultz last year, we had the President of the European Commission endorsing the Junior Enterprises in Europe and congratulating them for taking the lead on a daily basis to co-‐create the future of Europe. Moreover, we organized, in March 2017, our JADE Spring Conference, bringing together more than 300 Junior Entrepreneurs and a number of Alumni from JADE Executive Board, in order to celebrate the two anniversaries of our concept and network. We had the chance to have one of the founders of JADE delivering a keynote speech in the Gala dinner and highlighting the results achieved over 25 years. This was the opportunity to reflect on what we want to achieve in the next 25 and 50 years of our concept and how we can develop even further our impact. With this Annual Report, I would like to invite you to dive into the efforts and achievements of our team but also of the common effort, drive and passion of all our over 22,000 members across Europe. Today more than ever: #TogetherWeGrow

You are building a vital partnership between higher education and the world of work, ensuring that teaching and learning adapt to our fast-‐changing economy. The European Commission is proud to support your efforts. Our Investment Plan for Europe is improving financing opportunities for new entrepreneurs and start-‐ups. Our new Skills Agenda for Europe will help young people to acquire the right mix of skills. Testimonials

What do they say? Words from some of our supporters: Tibor Navracsics (﴾Commissioner for Education, Culture, Youth and Sport)﴿ Youth employment is still at unacceptable levels in Europe, while thousands of enterprises in Europe are ready to recruit but do not find people with the right skills. Bridging the gap between education and the labour market and fostering an entrepreneurial mind-‐set is therefore vital – for policy-‐ makers as well as for business and civil society. The work of organisations like the European Confederation of Junior Enterprises (﴾JADE)﴿ has an important part to play in this. As Commissioner for Education, Culture, Youth and Sport, I would like to express my strong support to them and all the Junior Enterprises across Europe; through their daily activities, they support young people in developing valuable skills, boosting their entrepreneurial spirit and ensuring a smooth transition to the job market.

This is an excellent way to help ensure that Europe fully taps its most precious resource: the talent of its people. I would like to congratulate the Junior Enterprise movement for its actions in Europe and around the world and the impact it has on young people‘s lives – and the future of our societies.

Martin Schultz (﴾former President of the European Parliament)﴿

“I want to congratulate JADE for its involvement in encouraging entrepreneurial skills in Europe. Thanks to you, more than 280 junior enterprises in 14 European countries bridge the gap between academia and the real market. In addition to their studies, 22.000 students are practically involved into the running of non-‐ profit SMEs in Europe: that is an impressive number of young Europeans learning how to become entrepreneurs, and moreover discovering social entrepreneurship…”

The JADE student network aims to help students in developing technical and interpersonal skills for entrepreneurship and to practice corporate social responsibility. This is expected to impact on the productivity of the workforce and to have a positive impact on the business world. The Junior Enterprise Network and JADE The first Junior Enterprise was founded exactly 50 years go, in 1967: since then, the JE concept has been expanding across Europe and far beyond, leading in 2016 to the creation of the Junior Enterprise Global Council. Nowadays the Junior Enterprise concept is present on all continents and continues to impact an increasing number of students every year.

The Junior Enterprise Network and JADE

The Junior Enterprises Bridging the gap between academia and the business world A Junior Enterprise is a non-‐profit organization, formed and managed exclusively by students of higher education, which realize projects, in relations to their fields of studies, for companies. They apply their theoretical knowledge on real problems of the market, develop their entrepreneurial skills by running the association and benefit from the guidance of teachers and professionals. Junior Enterprises are similar to real companies, counting with the principles of corporate governance like management council and executive board. In a Junior Enterprise, students have the chance to put in practice what they study in university, developing hard and soft skills.

Junior Enterprises all across Europe pursue the same goals: §

Providing a “learning by doing” experience for students, who create and manage their own non-‐profit SMEs offering various services to the market, in relation to their field of study

§

Connecting academic knowledge and the business world, allowing students to add practical experience to their theoretical skills

§

Fostering entrepreneurial skills, needed in modern economies and societies, such as self-‐confidence and direct entrepreneurship experience

§

Enhancing employability in a local market, helping local companies to search for and employ talented, experienced and motivated students from one single place

§

Improving local economic and social growth: Junior Entrepreneurs are a direct way to promote universities’ brands to local companies and supporting local start-‐ups and SMEs in their activities.

Being part of a Junior Enterprise is for a student a unique opportunity to develop those skills that the job market is looking for. By developing projects for real corporate customers, managing the Junior Enterprise itself, with all the processes that are typical in a company, Junior Entrepreneurs challenge their own limits every day. Not only they develop hard and soft skills by delivering high-‐quality projects but, by managing their own company like structures, Junior Entrepreneurs can experience every day what it means to be entrepreneurial and to bring their own business forward in the real competitive market. A unique chance for a university student.

Objectives of Junior Enterprises

The Junior Enterprise Network and JADE

Our Junior Entrepreneurs The top 1% that is changing Europe every day Our Junior Entrepreneurs are bright motivated young people willing to take a step forward to improve not only their own education and skills but also the world around them. They chose to dedicate a large part of their time, alongside their studies, to the development of their Junior Enterprises, to the realization of projects for their customers, and to the recruitment and the training of those that after them will manage the organization. They impact their peers, by inspiring them in challenging their limits and push forward the boundaries of their university education. But they also impact the society and the (﴾business)﴿ environment around them: they offer accessible consultancy services to small companies and SMEs, helping them to join the digital market, expand their business and grow at European and global level. The Junior Entrepreneurs are one of the driving forces of change in today’s Europe, working every day not only to become better professionals but also better (﴾European)﴿ citizens. By building personal relationships and business partnership with other Junior Enterprises across the continent, they are exposed daily to a multicultural working world, where they can experience the differences, the richness and the value of intercultural collaboration and cooperation. Before graduation, they become the “young graduates with experience” every company is looking for as tomorrow’s leaders.

Fields of study In Europe, the following are the first 5 fields of study mainly chosen by our Junior Entrepreneurs: Business Economics Engineering

Participants of the Summer JADE Meeting 2016

Management IT However, the Junior Entrepreneurs come from all field of studies: it is the blending of different approaches, competencies, and skills that makes a difference in providing value to the Junior Enterprises’ customers but also in shaping the open-‐mindedness of the Junior Entrepreneurs.

Gala Dinner in the Summer JADE Meeting 2016

The Junior Enterprise Network and JADE

The JADE network Growing together with our members to have every day more impact JADE was founded in 1992 upon the initiative of six confederations of Junior Enterprises – CNJE (﴾France)﴿, CEJE (﴾Spain)﴿, UniPartners (﴾Netherlands)﴿, JADE Switzerland, JADE Italia, and BDSU (﴾Germany)﴿ – with the aim of connecting Junior Entrepreneurs across the continent to promote exchange of best practices and connection. Over time, JADE has been growing with the entrance in the network of more and more countries. At the same time, the Junior Enterprise concept was growing far beyond the European boundaries, first in Brazil and then in Tunisia. Over the last year, after the Junior Enterprise World Conference 2016 that gathered in Brazil over 3,500 Junior Entrepreneurs from all around the globe, and that saw the creation of the Junior Enterprise Global Council, we built the foundations for the development of the global movement of Junior Enterprises. 2017 has seen the creation of confederations in the United States and in Morocco as well as the growth of many initiatives in over 20 countries around the world.

JADE Structure JADE is a bottom-‐up organization: the Junior Entrepreneurs choose the leaders of their Junior Enterprises to guide the organization, manage the relationship with clients and suppliers, partners and in general all the external stakeholders. At the national level, the Junior Enterprises elect their country representatives, who work to promote the JE concept and answer the needs of their JEs at country-‐ level. Each country elects its International Manager, responsible for ensuring effective communication between the national and the European level, JADE. All the national representatives elect the JADE Executive Board which, from Brussels, represents the movement at European level and keeps the relationship with the partners, institutions, and the other confederations in the world.

The anniversary year 2016-2017 These are special years for the Junior Enterprise movement, when turning 50 years old. This year, we were at the second year of the strategic cycle 2016-2018. We strived to bring JADE one step forward towards its vision to make the Junior Enterprise network even stronger at European and also at Global level.

The anniversary year 2016-‐2017

The anniversary year 2016-‐2017 The year 2016-‐2017 from a long-‐ term perspective JADE has been working in the last decade with strategic cycles lasting 3 years. In 2016, the new three-‐years cycle was inaugurated. The 2016-‐ 2018 horizon has the renewed vision of making the Junior Enterprise concept universally known as the expert network on student entrepreneurship in Europe by 2018. While pursuing our vision, we keep focusing on the three strategic pillars that characterize JADE as an umbrella organization for Junior Enterprises in Europe:

Important endorsements from the institutional world In 2017, JADE and the Junior Enterprises in Europe received support and endorsements from many institutional representatives. The endorsement of President of the Regions Markku Markkula, who supports the establishments of Junior Enterprises and stresses their importance for the local eco-‐ systems, was a key highlight.

A more and more global view for Junior Enterprises

Support the Junior Enterprise network – via quality programs across Europe and the globe Integrate the network, by organizing or promoting events to bring the members together to exchange best practices, experiences, stories Represent the Junior Enterprise network in front of private and public partners as well as the other global confederations of Junior Enterprises

President Markkula of the CoR

From the European Commission side, The Commissioner for Education, Culture and Sports – Tibor Navracsics gave his strong support and endorsement for the Junior Enterprise Movement.

At the end of our 2016-‐2017 term, we are proud to look back at the results achieved this year in all the three pillars of the strategy and the foundations laid for the next 25 years of the organization.

19 | JADE Annual Report 2016-‐2017

It has been a special year for the Junior Enterprise movement not only in Europe but also at global level: the 2016 Junior Enterprise World Conference took place in Florianopolis, Brazil, with over 3,200 Junior Entrepreneurs from all around the world to set the basis for new collaboration at global level. The JEWC was also the occasion to sign the new Memorandum of Understanding, the document that outlines the development strategy of the Junior Enterprise network at global level for the next 2 years.

Looking forward

This year, the first JE turned 50 years old and 2018 will also be a year to celebrate! The next World Conference is taking place in France, the nation where the Junior Enterprises were born and the Junior Enterprise movement in Brazil is turning 30 years old. With the end of the current strategic cycle, the new long-‐term strategy for JADE will be defined & the foundations for the future development of an even stronger international movement will be laid.

Celebrating Excellence in the Junior Enterprise network The JADE Excellence Awards are the most important recognition given every year to the best European Junior Enterprises: JEs from all around the continent compete to showcase their excellence and the results achieved in the past year to get visibility at European level in front of fellow Junior Entrepreneurs, Corporate partners and institutions. Meet the winners!

Junior Enterprise of the Year: Conquest Consulting (﴾JADE Poland)﴿ ConQuest from its very beginnings was a unique and very entrepreneurial Junior Enterprise. 2016 was a special year for us, because we decided to go beyond only pure entrepreneurship, measured by number of projects, and reach for higher awards. Among our achievements this year, we managed to establish long-‐term cooperation with Harvard Business Review Poland, we created our own mobile app and introduced a brand-‐new service to the entire polish market, virtual ethnography

Most Promising JE: IESEG Conseil Paris (﴾CNJE)﴿ Hyper growth and communication. Here are the two pillars that have led our actions since our creation in september 2013. With almost 1000% of growth in three years, thanks to the collaboration of loyal companies such as JLL and Value Retail, and to a valued partnership set with the Big Four EY, the team has developed a spirit and motivation that have accelerated its development to reach the title of Most Promising Junior in Europe.

Most Entrepreneurial JE: LSM Conseil (﴾JADE Belgium)﴿ Entrepreneurship has been in LSM Conseil's DNA for years, and is even among our 3 core values. Thanks to its active involvement in the entrepreneurial ecosystem around us and various initiatives, LSM Conseil put together a solid application for Most Entrepreneurial JE. The initiatives included for example a new start-‐up competition (﴾the Innovation Cup)﴿, coaching offered to various "mini-‐enterprises" at the high school level or the effort put into JE recognition nation-‐wide.

Most International JE: ESCadrille (﴾CNJE)﴿ ESCadrille is a leading Junior Enterprise in Europe, having been selected as the JE of the Year in 2016 and benefiting from a wide international network. Internationalization has been at the core of ESCadrille’s strategy for several years and we have already been awarded as Most International JE in 2014. This year, we went one step further with the creation of an antenna in Barcelona and by strengthening our ties with our international partners to create a true European capability.

ConQuest receiving their award in the Gala Ceremony

Most Innovative Project: Company Consulting Team (﴾BDSU)﴿ Founded in 1993, CCT offers international consulting services to companies of different branches and sizes in wide fields. Our expertise covers main fields as Business Process Optimization, Corporate Strategy for SMEs, Market Research and Marketing as well as IT (﴾Database Systems, Digital Tools)﴿. This year, we won the JADE Excellence Award in the category " Most Innovative project 2017". Our project changed the way our client perceived their products, it had an agile approach and improved the PoS customer experience. Our team is looking forward to the awards of next year, where we will set the standards even higher!

Most Social Responsible Project: LSM Conseil (﴾JADE Belgium)﴿ Based in Belgium's most dynamic economic region, LSM Conseil provides its clients with a large variety of engineering and management consulting services. Since 2011, LSM Conseil organizes annually the LSM Cup, Europe's largest CSR-‐oriented Business Game. This event's mission is to challenge students to come up with socially responsible solutions to real business cases offered by sponsor companies, thus making them experience how ethics and business success can be compatible.

Special Junior Enterprise Projects International Business game WBC, CCT and JISC To achieve high-‐quality results in the projects with clients, working together as a team is one of the main ingredients. We try to push each other and think about solutions together to turn every project into a satisfying and valuable outcome for everyone. The exchange with other like-‐minded students from all the different student consultancies across Europe is an advantage for everyone because when we share our diverse ideas and views on topics and problems, it will help each and every one to grow. JADE network provides JEs with a platform that helps them to overcome the borders of their country. In this context, the three Junior Enterprises WBC, CCT and JISC initiated a series of international business games. The aim is to strengthen the connection between the JEs and to see how other students with a different cultural background would approach the same issue. The rules for the game are simple. It is a competition between JEs. One case with an exciting problem to solve, 7 days to come up with a solution. On the 12th of April, all JEs received a mail by WBC, who was the organizer, with the case study for the first round of the games. The managing director of an Austrian firm had to decide whether and how his company should expand its business in China. His firm is an electronic component manufacturer and some of its customers had decided to enter the Chinese market. However, the firm could not offer its own production facilities in China and therefore the managing director suggested to outsource the production to a local partner. But one of his customers refused. That put him in a dilemma as, he did not want to lose this client and potentially also other clients in the future, but saw a certain financial risk of opening own production facilities on site.

23 | JADE Annual Report 2016-‐2017

The JEs started to analyse the situation to develop the best solution possible on which the final decision concerning the expansion strategy could be based. After carefully evaluating all the factors that have an influence on the matter, CCT came to the conclusion that establishing a sub-‐contract model with Chinese partners would be the most reasonable decision. The Swedish competitors JISC suggested a joint venture, and WBC from England presented the option of acquisition as the result of their analysis. On the 18th of April, the outcomes were sent back to the organisers from WBC. From each JE participating, one member had been chosen to rate the different solutions. Criteria were among other things the correct definition of the problem, clear suggestions for solving the case, and also a professional presentation of the results. For CCT the hard work paid off – the Company Consulting Team won the first round of the international business games! But actually it was a win for everyone. Not only could all the teams work on their skills in solving case studies but it was also exciting and most of all enriching to see what kind of approaches the contestants from other countries choose. That is why we want even more JEs in the network to take part in these kind of initiatives in order to improve their international network and skills!

Creating a JE in South Africa Academy Consult You love the Junior Enterprise Spirit? So does Academy Consult! That is why they founded the first student-‐ run consulting firm in Sub-‐Saharan Africa. Members of Academy Consult Munich have been planning on this project since July 2016 and finally flew to Johannesburg in March 2017.

The day after their arrival, they started contacting companies, marketing on campus and building up a brand for The Consulting Academy. With the JE concept, we want to close the gap between students and the job market and therefore JADE supports this counteract against the high unemployment rate among youth in South Africa. Most students there are lacking practical experience and are then struggling to find a job once they graduate. Companies usually require three to five years of practical experience, which a graduate doesn’t have, because nobody wants to give it to them in the first place – and that is exactly the challenge we want to overcome by supporting the establishment of JEs in the country. By now, they have successfully recruited 19 very passionate and diverse local students from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg. After going through training for two weekends, all Trainees are working on a training project and some are even staffed on their first external project already. In June, the new Heads of Departments were elected and Academy Consult’s members are confident to have found talented and ambitious successors, who will make The Consulting Academy grow. Also, they have gained Roche Diagnostics South Africa as a partner and are negotiating with many more. They also invite other Junior Entrepreneurs from the network to join the Consulting Academy for a while in order to share their knowledge and best practices and help them develop.

Generations Club 2016 Bridging generations to face Europe’s hot issues Since the first edition of Generations Club in 2007, the event has aimed to build bridges between the senior and the junior generation in order to foster an entrepreneurial society. This has been achieved through knowledge exchange and dialogue on relevant challenges in education, youth entrepreneurship and employability. This invitation-‐only event brings senior representatives of the private and public sector and entrepreneurs together with young entrepreneurial students in order to elaborate high-‐quality recommendations for policy makers, business leaders and young people in Europe.

In the past, Junior Entrepreneurs and seniors were able to discuss challenging issues such as: “The Generation gap & knowledge transfer”, “The Battle for knowledge”, “How is technology changing the workplace of today?”, “What do you believe will be the biggest change we will see in the workplace of 2025?”.

Which skills do we need to develop today in order to lead the transition towards the workplace of the future?

How can we develop these skills and which should be developed as a student and which as an entrepreneur or employee?

Fostering entrepreneurial skills, via inspiring role models

We all follow the example of others. Role models help us to be more creative, aspire to take that risk that will make all the difference. With Success Stories, we aim at collecting inspiring experiences from the alumni of our network to showcase how their Junior Enterprise helped them in their career. These stories fuel the Junior Entrepreneurs’ mindset and encourage them to overcome their next challenges. Each year, a Success Stories booklet is released, containing the most inspiring stories, advice and examples from real entrepreneurs & intrapreneurs.

JADE network is full of creative, innovative and inspiring role models. Those Junior Entrepreneurs which kept on with the entrepreneurial spirit, launched their own start-‐up, or had an amazing corporate career, and kept improving through learning from their failures. In 2017, the Success Stories booklet reached its 10th edition, with over 10 stories to inspire young people to follow their passion in pursuing their career: Alumni that made a difference, that inspire future generations of Junior Entrepreneurs in Europe and beyond.

The concept of the booklet has been reviewed in 2016. Since then it is focusing not only on the Alumni that created their own companies, but also on those that made the best out of the skills learned in their experience in the JE and developed an impressing career building on the entrepreneurial mindset gained in the Junior Enterprise network.

All Junior Entrepreneurs who are planning to travel abroad during their next vacations or students who want to welcome a foreign Junior Entrepreneur can get involved in this program.

Enhancing the Network Quality The Confederations Development Programme The Confederations Development Program is a long-‐term initiative of JADE, reaching this year the 8th round of knowledge sharing. CDP provides our Member Countries with an experience-‐sharing platform that JADE creates and facilitates, as well as individualized support to develop and improve performance over the years. The program has two stages, one of information gathering followed by analysis and recommendations and one of learning through coaching and exchange sessions between confederations. For example, the Members could exchange about “Recruiting and Training high performing teams” at the national level, “Enlargement” (﴾how to create new Junior Enterprises)﴿ and “Private Cooperation -‐ how to optimize the relationship between the Junior Enterprises and the private sector”. This year, we renewed our partnership with EFQM, the European Federation for Quality Management, and reviewed our methodology to make the Confederation Program even more efficient for the Members. EFQM trained JADE team, advised on the methodology (﴾RADAR approach)﴿ and provided help in the individualized report and coaching for the Members.

The JADE Team during a training provided by the EFQM

Fostering quality development at national level During this year, JADE also focused on another quality project: Common European Audit grid. As we wish to foster more cooperation between our Junior Enterprises in the long term, and are always happy to share our network with the private and public sector to fulfill their needs, the Common European Audit Grid aims to guarantee and strengthen the Quality of our network. In addition, as JADE is aiming at a global recognition for the network of Junior Enterprises, having a quality stamp will distinguish our network from other initiatives. The objective of this project is to provide each of our members with a tool, the audit grid, and a process in order to assess the quality of their Junior Enterprises and to help them develop with tailored advice. This year, the process, the grid and guidelines were updated on the basis of the work performed in 2012 and 2016. After having implemented the process as a trial on 3 Junior Enterprises (﴾our Consultative members from Sweden, Croatia and the UK)﴿ in 2016, we achieved a big step forward with the implementation of the audit system in Belgium and Switzerland in 2017. Overall, there is now an audit system in 9 of our 11 National Confederations, contributing each year to the development and quality of the Junior Enterprises around Europe,

A flourishing network

New Junior Enterprises

Beyond new boundaries

More than ever, we aim at a global network of Junior Enterprises, we are developing more and more Junior Enterprises around the world; JADE is deeply involved in the creation and support of Junior Initiatives, in order to give the opportunity to more students to benefit from this life-‐changing experience.

One of the highlights of the year was a trip to Qatar in order to promote the Junior Enterprise concept in a country with huge potential both in the economic development of entrepreneurship and also the education system. We managed to present the JE concept to the Qatar Foundation, who supports entrepreneurship education and many universities in the country, we met representatives from the Qatar Financial Centre and Qatar Airways who all believe in the validity of the JE concept.

This year, we were in contact with numerous countries from Europe – Sweden and the UK where we helped developing at national level, but also Ireland, Finland, Hungary, Albania, Denmark … Outside Europe, we also developed the network in Turkey with 3 initiatives and promotion in new Universities, in Oceania with two initiatives in Australia, promoted the Concept in Qatar and as well as in Africa with Gabon, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Morocco where we supported the creation of a National Confederation and a collaboration at Maghreb level with JET (﴾Junior Enterprises Tunisia)﴿.

29 | JADE Annual Report 2016-‐2017

On top of those activities, we also carried out Godmother program (﴾thanks to which experienced Junior Enterprise can mentor Junior Initiatives)﴿, as well as Promotion Program, that consists in training Junior Entrepreneurs studying abroad in order for them to be able to create a Junior Enterprise in their host University. Around 50 Junior Enterprises participated in the Godmother program, and 12 Promoters spread the Junior Enterprise concept around Europe.

JADE Academy is growing Reaching new heights with JADE’s Train the Trainers program JADE Academy is the JADE Train the Trainers program, launched in 2015. It combines a Train the Trainers week with training sessions throughout the year, to foster exchange at international level and sharing of best practices.

A JADE Academy training during JADE Spring Conference

The Train the Trainers (﴾TtT)﴿ event gives Junior Entrepreneurs the chance to develop new heights and to prepare themselves to deliver high-‐quality trainings in a multicultural environment, building a strong and united trainers team ready to share their expertise around Europe

By developing multipliers, JADE Academy can spread the entrepreneurial spirit and create common knowledge throughout the network. In 2016 the second edition of the Train the Trainers week took place, with an amazing feedback from the participants who afterward delivered trainings in JADE Spring Conference, JADE May Conference, Summer JADE Conference and many other national conferences as well as for different JEs all over Europe. Overall, around 90 trainings have been held and around 900 Junior Entrepreneurs have been impacted by trainings since the existence of the program. All JEs can benefit from this program by requesting a training by JADE Academy in order to improve their skills, projects, processes and team dynamics.

The next TtT is already taking place in August 2017 and the trainers pool continues growing.

The New Executive Board

“Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.” (﴾Helen Keller)﴿

Diogo Parreira, Alfonso Catone, Adrien Lepic & Giorgio Sleiter: JADE’s future consists of four great Junior Entrepreneurs who together build the next JADE Executive Board. They are taking over the organisation’s activities from August 2017. We believe this heterogeneous team made up by experienced as well as fresh Junior Entrepreneurs will achieve great results.

Our impact as Junior Entrepreneurs is the non-‐conformism that aspires always higher and the willingness to be part of a major change for the future. These deep beliefs are what makes my team take the lead, to fully commit ourselves to our movement, to JADE. After 50 years of a great history, a new chapter is about to begin – and itDiogo is all about going Parreira even further.”
