We ride The Ride confidently knowing that there is a commitment to protect our clean air, and preserve our environment. The Ride brings together, the people, the city we live in and that nature that surrounds us with this state of the art, innovative transit system designed to be safer, cleaner and self sustaining to support the earth that supports us.
Newly designed buses that operate on natural gas, are made in no-waste plants, entirely from recycled materials. Panoramic windows frame the busses to facilitate a full city view and the beauty of nature.
Ergonomic seating designed to make the ride more comfortable and cleaner ride after a long day at work. The design on the chairs reflects the logo design to bring continuity to the branding of The Ride.
The material is made from antimicrobial textile to provide high sanitation standards.
The arm is designed to hold the seats by sustaining more weight and adding mild flexibility for shock absorption.
The Ecopass reader
The pass reader sits on a robotic arm to make the card reader accessible to people of all heights and physical abilities. It is made out of aluminum to provide an easier cleaning surface. The information about the validity of a card is displayed on an LED screen.
The ecopass is made from a recycled plastic, blended with aluminum fibers to create a more durable card that a user will have for many years. These passes can activate monthly or yearly memberships and can be renewed online. These can also serve as pre-pay cards for The Ride for less frequent riders.
These benches are specifically designed for Ecoride. They are made entirely out of recycled product.
The material maintains a comfortable temperature and does not get too cold or too hot even in extreme weather.
This bus stop sign is made from recycled aluminum. It has the numbers of the buses large enough to see from over 50 ft away and has a digital screen of LED lights that is powered by solar power with real time updates informing when the bus will arrive. Users will see two different versions of this bus stop sign: silver and green.
These poles will be strategically placed 1 mile apart at more vulnerable stops. They are equipped with surveillance cameras and a call button connected to 911. When the button is pressed the large LED light begins to flash indicating an emergency, accompanied by a loud siren sound.
These advertisement boards, hand rails and the garbage cans are all made out of recycled aluminum. The Rails can be used to lock up your bike or to lean on while you wait. The Trash Can is designed to hold in the bacteria and designed to keep snow and rain out of the garbage can
The Intersection bus stop
This type of bus stop will be found at intersections of multiple bus routes. The shelter is equipped with bright LED lights and is made transparent to allow riders to see who else may be waiting for a bus. And to facilitate natural lighting during the day.
The shelter is made out of recycled shatter proof glass.

This stop is found on routes where there is less than 4 routes intersecting. The design of the shelter is more closed with shatter proof glass on the sides of the shelter. It creates a safer experience because this stop is completely lit. You can see into or out of the shelter. At all times. At night, the shelter lights up a 15 feet radius around the shelter for increased security.

The touch map
These will be found in the largest stops of the bus routes and the light rail. This is a new technology that we are offering you because we want to be sure that the riders feel secure about their experience and know exactly where they are going. The touch screen is plasma responsive technology. Very responsive to a riders touch. The casing is made from recycled aluminum.

The Light Rail The train and the main station are re-designed to promote energy conservation. All materials used in the construction of the new trains and the stations will be made from recycled material. The entire station is encased in a recycled shatter-proof glass dome which allows those inside to see out and those outside to see in. The Light-rail is a compact train designed with a fun modern look that can also be considered “throw back�.

The glass dome becomes fully transparent at night.
The glass dome activates a shading technology to block Sun rays from entering the station.
The restroom These restrooms will be available in larger stations. They can be programmed to steam clean every hour automatically to disinfect and sterilize the bathroom.

This brochure will be available in all RTD passenger vehicles and at key locations around the city. It will include key information about contact, cost, and philosophy of Ecoride.
This map/schedule is made into a booklet to make it easier to carry and read with out getting lost in the folds. It will be printed with soy ink on recycled paper.
