MARK HAUS This work collages programs together, joined in one universal space, to allow programs to expand and retract based on the client’s intended purposes. This special composition is showcased through the use of traces. Such traces present themselves throughout the design to communicate various ideas such as, hybrid spaces, sunlight and shadows, time, weathering, and the construction process. The idea of collaged programs all encased in one large space allows for the artist’s living space to simultaneously act as a studio and gallery.
