VertHaus is an extreme sports and content creation facility that offers opportunities for rock climbing, indoor skydiving, cliff-diving, and skateboarding. In doing so, the building operates as a hub for extreme sports activities with viral content creation capabilities.
On approach to our project, the presence of extreme sports activities populate the plaza. Climbing walls wrap parts of the exterior, skatepark elements extrude from the ground, and the diving pool acts as an aquarium wall. We wanted the public to be able to witness and interact with the extreme sports activities happening on both the interior and exterior of the building.
