(SUB)URBAN HIGH SEATS/competition entry /Psáry-Dolní Jirčany/2012 This proposal for CULBURB competition follows the potentiality of hilly terain and the closeness of the first continuous forest on the way out of Prague in the south direction. The border position of forest inspirated an acupunctural form of the intervention which is derived from the typology of hunting high seats. These objects, creates new identifiable points in the village and its immediate surrounding. High seats, called pulpits in hunting slang, which are raised on natural elevations or just placed higher than new low-floor houses, offer new views on village and landscape. Their location in urban parts on the hillock of the historical center of Dolní Jirčany, above the suburban housing estate or on the slopes above the Štědřík would offer new pilgrimage stops with the possibilities of relaxation and observation the urban development of the village.

ČERNÁ LOUKA/competition entry/co-authors Jiří Vítek, Jaroslav Sedlák/Ostrava/2010 The area of Černá louka is perceived within its fragment-related urban structure of Moravian Ostrava. The proposal complements the existing fragments of the city structure in connection to the main square and to the anticipated development. The main objective pursued is not to create and independent area but to integrate it into the urban network of the city. The city attains up to its natural borders represented by the river and the railway. The phasing of the project is to indicate natural growth of a city - contrary to the stages of a urban development project. Its first phase is represented by the building schedule predetermined by the competition rules.
