Page 1

Welcome to the Worcester College of Technology HND Graphic Design final exhibition 2013. The work exhibited is a culmination of the students’ hard work over the past two years. The students have worked on many areas of graphic design, from typography to editorial design, as well as branding and marketing campaigns for LEGO as part of the Young Creative Network competition. The students have also worked on a variety of Live projects including a rebrand of a chocolate company, editorial design for a theatre company and a bespoke wedding design company. The exhibition design and planning has also been completed by all of the students on the course and we would like to welcome you to Unseen 2013.

Aimee Allen I have been studying and enjoying graphic design now for 4 years. I love designing and solving problems for clients in the most creative way I can. I have really enjoyed my time on the HND graphic design course as it has allowed me to work on some exciting

live briefs and getting a real feel for the industry I would like to work in. I am hoping to progress and top-up my HND to a full degree at Worcester University where I hope to continue to grow as a designer and develop my professional skills.

tom shannon I have been studying graphic design for 4 years and have really enjoyed progressing as a designer. I have recently started incorporating animated videos into my work and have developed a clear passion for animation which has lead me to being

accepted into Bristol to start a brand new degree course specifically for animation. Design and animation go perfectly together which has allowed me to create my own style.

Liz handley HND Graphic Design has continuously provided stimulating and diverse projects. From corporate identity, package design and illustration which has allowed me to flourish creatively. From working on many projects I now have an wide-ranging knowledge of all programs in the Adobe Creative Suite, specialising in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

Alongside college I am consistently working on other projects to expand on the diversity and depth of my portfolio as well as my own ability as a graphic designer. I have designed band advertisements, student film posters and helped to create identities for developing businesses.

jack pope I take a lot inspiration from all around me through skateboarding and street wear, which are my two main interests at the moment. Studying graphic design for the last 4 years has allowed me to experiment

with these interests and I’ve been able to start up my own company which is currently being stocked in stores around the midlands and plans for more in the future.

kinga pluta I’m Kinga, and six years ago I came to the UK from Poland, and have studied graphic design now for four years. I have always liked art and design, and over the past four years I have enjoyed every day!

It has allowed me to meet new friends, face new challenges but most importantly it has allowed me to express myself visually. I hope to bring both my passion for design and photography together in my future career.
