What is GPN? Green Power Now, lauched by GCDPi, AIESEC ZUEL, is an exchange programme which aims to educate the future generation about the environmental and empower them to be environmental and social leader of their community. meanwhile facilitate the cultural exchange between China and the world. With effort of the global volunteers and local volunteers, we’ll joint the resources from NGOs and school clubs to implement environmental activities, such as courses, social research, green cycling or running, green cup and other amazing AIESEC activities.
Job description
Choose your interested environment protect issue, design the class with local volunteers & AIESECers Do social research on environment protect issue with high school students by visiting other NGO such cowfish protection center
Take part in Green Cup (environmental protection project design competition among high schools in Wuhan).Work with your team and try to win the game!
Other green activities such as green cycling, green run. You can also add your own idea, we highly applaud EP to be the OCP(organization committee president)to start your own activity and inspire the whole EP groups.
Activities for Trainee: welcome party, city tour, explore Chinese traditional culture, Global Village, story sharing, etc
Accommodation & fee You can choose either a trainee house or a homestay .And taken convenience into account, we’ll prefer houses near our campus or Optics Valley(downtown) Trainee House A trainee house makes all EPs to live together to feel the real cultural differences and grow a life-long friendship with other EPs from around the world,it’s just like a global village,but EPs will have to share the rent. The fee is about 800 RMB/month. Homestay You can also choose to iive in a Chinese homestay. Before you arrive in China, we will try our best to find a homestay for you to live in, but there’s no guarantee. In a Chinese homestay, you don’t need to pay for accommodation, but the meals may not be free (about 20-30 RMB per day)
