Outline 2014 In 2014 Janssen de Jong Groep achieved a turnover of 259 million euro and a profit after tax of 4,5 million euro. The group doubled its profit compared to 2013.
In 2014 we have outlined our ambitions and goals for the coming years in a strategic plan. The principal goals are growth, cooperation with strategic partners and a profitable organization. Our activities can be divided into three clusters: Project Development & Construction, Commercial Property and Caribbean. The Caribbean group companies all managed to remain profitable through more exports, projects in the private sector and efficient operations. The Commercial Property group companies successfully explored new markets in Africa and the Caribbean. For some of our group companies in the Netherlands we have reorganized their operations to respond to the still challenging market conditions. Our Project Development and Construction companies have been working at one office since November 2014. Since mid 2015 group companies Hercuton, Remco Ruimtebouw and Hafkon are housed in one building too. This clustering improves cooperation and allows sharing services. Janssen de Jong Groep offers high quality products and services and continues to develop new product- market combinations. We offer total solutions, going just that little bit further so that the customer can realize his projects without any concerns. Our innovative products and applications in the field of sustainability such as the flexible and energy efficient building system ToPlan, the renovation concept for old houses, the energy generating wall and the Personal Property Plan project in the Caribbean will be rolled out further in the market. In addition, the Commercial Property cluster will continue to focus more abroad. Janssen de Jong Groep benefits from the diverse expertise of the group companies active in various regions. Our company structure allows sharing knowledge and a quick response to market developments. In 2014 we laid the foundation for further growth.
