Hi there, it's Wen-chi Lin here. You can also call me Jasmine. I am an Industrial Design student from National Cheng Kung University. After stepping into the design field, observing and questioning become a part of my daily life. I also appreciate a lot of art and design works to gain my design taste. To me, design is not only about beauty, but also about effectively solving problems. Therefore, I took the intelligent computing course, learning to solve problems in the way of computer thinking, so as to train my logical thinking ability. I hope to become a sensual and rational designer and keep bringing warmth to the world!

Inspiration Inspired by the vinyl record player, the operation of the lamp refer to it of the vinyl record player. Each lamp panel represents different style and different place, so that users can choose any effects of light they want.

Nowaday, people usually wear watch outside their wrist. It makes me curious if it is the best way to wear a watch. How about wear a watch inside our wrist?

It turns out that soldiers, teachers, and drivers are used to wearing watches inside wrist because they tend to have their wrists facing upwards. As for people who use computers a lot like engineers, it is more suitable to wear a watch outside wrist. 20

Measuring blood in hospital makes people nervous.
Research indicated 1/3 of patients suffer from white-coat hypertension. Lead to inccorect measurement Many people get nervous when measuring blood in hospital. It not only brings a terrible exprience, but also causes patients get abnormally high blood pressure.
Paitents might be misdiagnosed
In severe cases, paitents might be misdiagnosed with White Robe Hypertension. A research indicates that White-coat hypertension occurs in 15% to 30% of subjects with an elevated office blood pressure, and the phenomenon is reasonably reproducible.

Understanding Target User Through the surveys and interviews with nurses and patients , we understood the reason why peoples feel stressful measuring blood pressure in the hospital. We also found that the elderly is the group that suffer from this problem the most.
Most of the patients are 55+ years old. 1/ who suffer from high blood pressure. 2/ who always worried about abnormal blood pressure. 3/ who always go to a hospital alone and feel lonely.

Interview with Prototypes In order to verify whether the ideas meet the needs of the customer, we made some prototype and interviewed 10+ elderly over 50 years old.
