Where there’s a need, there’s a way.
The will to make a difference starts with a desire to see the need. At First Horizon, we’re proud to support Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida because they never stop looking for ways to serve children in Southwest Florida. It’s vision that lifts individuals and transforms our community –one need at a time.
Congratulations to the recipients of the 2024 Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame awards.

Margaret Antonier Founder & CEO Miromar Development CorporationFor developer Margaret Antonier, residential and commercial properties are a blank canvas of unlimited possibilities to transform vision into reality and to push creativity to a new level through a different way of thinking.
As the founder and CEO of Miromar Development Corp., Margaret’s unique perspective, meticulous approach to development, and insistence on perfection ultimately elevate the experience and lifestyle at her diverse portfolio of Southwest Florida properties. Instrumental in shaping modern-day Estero with the opening of Miromar Outlets Phase 1 in 1999, Margaret was Estero’s 2006 Person of the Year and the 2008 Estero Outstanding Corporate Citizen.
Margaret’s aim for each property isn’t merely to expedite development but to create lasting impact and beauty. Every project reflects her love for design, architecture, and art and her keen eye for minuscule details – Miromar Outlets now with 140 stores, Miromar Lakes Beach & Golf Club, home to 2,400 residents, Miromar Design Center and University Village Shops & Student Residences with apartments for 924 FGCU students… and more projects underway. Margaret’s
influence and transformative contributions to development in Southwest Florida have been recognized as a 13-time recipient of the top Residential Developer of the Year Award. She also received an Honorary Doctorate of Laws from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2023.
Miromar Development’s unrivaled properties have received over 300 awards during the past 25 years. The most important accolade is the Gold Award for Miromar Lakes Beach & Golf Club as the No. 1 Community in the U.S.A. awarded by the National Association of Home Builders. Miromar Lakes is the only Florida community to ever win this prestigious award in the 42-year history of the NAHB and the only community in the United States to win both Gold Awards for No. 1 Community and No. 1 Clubhouse.
Miromar Outlets, celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2024, hosts 8 million annual visitors, ranks among TripAdvisor’s top Southwest Florida attractions, and has been a perennial winner for Best Factory Outlet and Best Shopping Experience since its inception Margaret was inducted into the Council of Developers of Outlet Centers and Retailers’ Hall of Fame in 2011.
While leading a development company of 250 people, Margaret also prioritizes supporting the local community. Miromar has been a significant contributor to FGCU for 25 years and supports Harry Chapin Food Bank, Habitat for Humanity, Southwest Florida Children’s Charities, Pace Center for Girls, and many other charitable organizations.

President/Founder MY Shower Door
Bill Daubmann, a dedicated professional and community advocate with more than two decades of service in Southwest Florida, has left an indelible mark. Since its inception in September 2003, MY Shower Door has garnered recognition at local, regional, and national levels.
A proper family company, it’s led by Daubmann, along with his wife of 48 years, Donna, and their sons Keith and Doug. As longstanding residents of Southwest Florida, the Daubmann family has crafted a unique legacy and remains actively engaged in the day-to-day operations of their enterprises.
Born in Springfield, MA, Daubmann inherited a legacy of innovation from his mother, a chemist responsible for developing the first “hardcover” golf ball at Spalding’s worldwide factory in Chicopee, MA. Under his direction, Daubmann’s family’s business portfolio has grown to establish D3 Glass and MY Architectural Glass and collectively employs more than 190 Florida residents.
Spanning from South Naples to Orlando and Boca Raton, the Daubmann family continues to shape the landscape of both the business and local communities
they serve through their businesses, which include ten MY Shower Door retail locations, D3 Glass, and MY Architectural Glass. On March 1st, they opened their first store outside of Florida in Charlotte, NC.
Their latest national recognition was to be the only Southwest Florida company to have two of their businesses (MY Shower Door and D3 Glass) listed on the INC 5000 “Fastest Growing Businesses in the United States” in the same year. This is the seventh time MY Shower Door has made that list but the first time for D3 Glass. In 2013, they were named by Glass Magazine, the industry’s premiere trade publication, as having the “Best Shower Door in the United States.”
As a lifelong sports enthusiast, Daubmann learned commitment and dedication to his team through the pursuit of ice hockey and golf, even serving as a professional on-ice referee for the American Hockey League for a decade. This success extends into his entrepreneurial pursuits. Daubmann is committed to a hands-on approach, prioritizing the well-being of the Southwest Florida community.
His active involvement in community roles includes contributions to Florida Gulf Coast University, SWFL, Inc., and South Fort Myers High School. Daubmann and his family also engage in philanthropic initiatives such as Make-A-Wish Southwest Florida, Golisano Children’s Hospital’s Toy Drive, Salvation Army’s Backpack School Drive, Navy Seals and Special Forces veterans. and more.
Matthew Kragh
President MHK Architecture
Matthew Kragh, the Founder and President of MHK Architecture, embarked on a journey of architectural excellence in 2009, driven by a simple yet profound vision. Since its inception, MHK has flourished into a collaborative force with ten office locations spanning from Naples to Aspen, Colorado, boasting a team of approximately 130 staff members.
Under Kragh’s leadership, MHK has left an indelible mark on architectural landscapes, crafting coveted works from Key West to Aspen, including luxury singlefamily homes and towering constructions. His team has been a cornerstone in projects ranging from the intricacies of single-family residences to the challenges of high-rise construction.
Kragh’s impact extends beyond architectural achievements. In 2004, the American Institute of Architects Florida Southwest Chapter recognized his humanitarian contributions, presenting him with the Humanitarian of the Year Award. In 2008, he was honored with the W.R. Frizell Medal of Honor, the highest accolade bestowed upon an architect.
Civic engagement is integral to Kragh’s ethos. He and his firm dedicate their time to community welfare through charitable design projects. Notable endeavors include Habitat for Humanity single-family dwellings and their inaugural Collier County-based multi-family project. MHK’s charitable designs for the First Tee of Collier County, in collaboration with the Gate and Arthrex, aim to provide underprivileged youth with access to golf and stimulate young minds.
Kragh and his wife Trista are avid supporters of various organizations, including the United Arts Council of Collier County, the Naples Downtown Association, the Urban Land Institute, the Economic Development Council, the SW Land Preservation Trust, the Naples Four Corners Committee, and the National Kidney Foundation.
MHK’s commitment to environmental responsibility is evident in its approach to sustainable design. With LEED-certified designers, the firm meticulously plans projects from inception, integrating sustainable principles into building systems and finishes. MHK’s emphasis on client education empowers informed decisions, promoting the use of renewable materials for enhanced efficiency and reduced maintenance costs.
Kragh’s leadership transcends architectural innovation, embodying a commitment to community, sustainability, and philanthropy.
