VILLAGE ART GALLERY
The isolation of the Hok Tsui Village countryside protects the serenity of the natural landscape. The journey into this remote island - the art museum awaits the expedition of artists to contemplate about the tectonic significance which is implicit from normal eyesights. The emergence of forms and passages between the sanctuary of nature amaze art lovers about the harmonic artworks under the dancing daylight and shadows. Resembling the atmosphere under trees and bright sky, it tells the remembrance of environment.

THE REGENERATION PROJECT
Mong Kok is known for the hustle and bustle, and rather caotic downtown urban life . R egarde d as a ty pica l example of Hong Kong, behind the densely standing towers, the retail ecology around and inside the gigantic Langham Place, there obsolete materials fo rg on e an d t h e un de rpri vi le ged residents are yet being their part in this disordered city. The notion of this regeneration project is to devise a stepby-step and systematic order in which each compoent is interacting to achieve both to be cared and to care groups/ activities/programs can sustain each other and thus regenerate the city, holistically.

THE MECHANISM OF REGENERATION Visitors are invited to explore the process of regeneration, activated by users: upcycling professionals and art therapy patients, in order to understand the holistic notion of regeneration. This also drives a city of vitality and care.
Hollowed out for a great and tall stepping atrium, visitors and especially the patients for art therapy can enjoy their art creations under the shower of sunshine.

ADVENTURE IN THE COEXISTENCE
Many sites around the deteriorated inner-city areas, for example Sheung Wan, suffer redevelopment for thebetter living environment. However, it is often the result many conventional activities and spaces are superseded by the transplanted models of living elements, such as western bars and re s t a u r a n t s a n d p o d i u m- t o w e r s . Instead of ignoring the importance of the heritage and spatial interests, the theme of this mini mall will focus on the notion on the coexistence of the Hong Kong convention, heritage, landscape and infrastructure, with the modern, organized retail and urban environment. Overall, it is a mall expected to show people the real Hong Kong.

ANOTHERMOUNTAINMAN ART MUSEUM
The anothermountainman (also known a s S t a n l e y Wo n g) i s a re n o w n e d local designer and creative ar tis t. Graphical representation, photography, mu lt imedia like video pictu res, installations and objects are his most common form of art creations. On top of his frequent contributioos in different means of art, there are similar messages developed from his arts: positiveness, eagerness, existence of time, limitation of life, courage, spirit and recently some knowledge learnt from his recent meditation in Buddhism for popularising the shared hope of world equality and harmony. The objective of this museum design is to discover the possible mediums of architecture to imitate his expression and notions. Lighting, planes, voids, linearity, collage of geometry are implemented.

The harmonic presence between the steady radiance of daylight and movement of s h a d o w s e s t a b l i s h e s e n d l e s s mindful moments which should well communicate with the sacredness of every living soul, as soon as people get into their bodily interactions with the swinging lamps overhead.

PLYWOOD FURNITURE
People have been living on the Earth for thousands of years. Human is interrelated with the Earth. What we have done to the earth will come back to us as consequences. “Inside Out, a pendant light, creates a sense of space by light and shadow. The shadows projected on the wall let the users feel like they are entering into a different space, being surrounded, meaning that we are a part of the world.Resembling t h e a t m os ph e re u n de r t re e s a n d bright sky, it tells the remembrance of environment.

ZHUUGROUND 2014 INT' ARCHITECTURAL WORKSHOP TRANSFORM RETAINING WALL Th is w or ks h o p ex pe r i m en t e d t h e retaining wall becoming a place for community acti vities to relax and connect other residents. It sees the urban retaining walls as branches of recreational space as pop-up space in the urban fabric. This breaks up the divergence of ground levels and celebrates the local built technology by resembling the tectonics of bamboo scaffolding architecture.
