PALIMPSEST OF T IME Applying the concept of palimpsest we look upon the it, as if all the layers are present and readable simultaneously, knowing that the superimposition of information is the core of the palimpsest concept. A palimpsest of time is interpreted in this scene, by introducing the joint mass, which is the main core of the project. The joint is emphasized in the design by doing the following, placing it in a straticgic location which interlocks both of the functional programs the industrial museum and the V.C school. A special interpretaion of time is out carried by rotating the mass to be directed towards the Ten Arch Bridge, which creates a constant dialouge between the two. The Joint were highlighted by a special material which is the corten steel, a material choosed carefully to contrast the rough texture of the Ten Arch Bridge while also creating a common factor between the two. A celebration occurs here via the inroduced function which is the audiotorium looking the Ten Arch bridge above. As soon as the visitor enters the reception hall which is located under a panoramic scene of the bridges is intorduced to them.
