October 29, 2016
Dear Georgia and Florida Fans: What an exciting week of fun for college football at Everbank Field! Jacksonville has hosted this game for over 80 years and it only gets better each time. It’s more than a game; it’s a tradition and an important part of our identity as a city. Not only does the game showcase our great city, but we get about 100,000 out-of-town visitors and an economic impact of more than $30 million. We want everyone to have fun, but the safety of our visitors and citizens is always our number one consideration. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is committed to providing the most current public safety and traffic information for the 2016 Georgia-Florida weekend festivities. JSO coordinates with the City of Jacksonville, the University of Florida and the University of Georgia to provide the information fans need to make the most of the weekend. Also, the City of Jacksonville will host six Sideline Safety Zones in the Sports Complex and throughout downtown Jacksonville. The Sideline Safety Zones will provide free assistance ranging from first aid, transportation, directions, telephone service, food, water, and more. For a list of locations and hours, please visit GAFLjax.com. See you at the game! Sincerely, Lenny Curry Mayor

2016 HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES
These four outstanding individuals will join current Hall of Fame members for their roles in making the Georgia-Florida Game the storied rivalry that it is today. MARCUS STROUD Marcus Stroud wreaked havoc throughout the SEC as a Georgia Bulldog. As a junior, starting nine games at defensive tackle and posting the second-highest total of QB pressures with nine. Stroud was picked 13th in the NFL draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars where he teamed up John Henderson to form Hurricane Henderstroud – one of the most dominant defensive tackle duos in the NFL. SCOTT WOERNER One of the greatest defensive backs in Georgia football program history, Scott Woerner had 13 interceptions in his career and none may have been more important than the last. Woerner led the nation that season in punt return average at 15.7 yards. Woerner was drafted in the third round by the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons. In his rookie season, he tallied 210 kick return yards on 10 returns and 278 punt return yards on 33 attempts. JEFF CHANDLER A native of Jacksonville and graduate of Mandarin High School, Jeff Chandler was the Gators’ all-time career leader in field goals completed, first in PATs made, and second in field goal percentage. He ranks second in SEC history in scoring with 368 points, fourth in league history in field goals made and second in field goal percentage. BEN TROUPE Ben Troupe played college football for the University of Florida and a senior team captain in 2003, he was a first-team All-Southeastern Conference selection and received first-team All-American honors from ESPN, Rivals.com and Sports Illustrated. He was a second-round pick in the 2004 NFL Draft, and played professionally for Tennessee, Tampa and Oakland.

A JACKSONVILLE TRADITION SINCE 1933
BY THE NUMBERS 1904
For the University of Georgia’s athletic department, the 1904 game held in Macon, Georgia, kicked the series off with a 52 - 0 win. Florida’s University Athletic Association does not count the loss in their tally as the team that they fielded was from an institution then known as the Florida Agricultural College, based in Lake City. This was one year before the Florida Legislature established what we know as the University of Florida and it was then one year later in 1906 that the Gators officially established their football team.
1915
The first recognized game by both institutions took place at Barrs Field in Jacksonville, Florida on November 6, 1915. Georgia won 37-0.
Florida 1928 National High-Scoring Champions 336-44
1928
Florida experienced its first victory in the rivalry beating Georgia 26-6.
1933
Starting in 1926, the game has been an annual event and since 1933, has called Jacksonville home, the only exceptions being 1994 and 1995.
49-42-2
The streaks of dominance by both sides seem to run in decades, but the current record favors Georgia at 49-41-2 (50-42-2 if you’re part of the camp that counts 1904).

The Florida Gators are the visiting team and are located on the East side of the stadium.
STADIUM INFORMATION DISABLED GUESTS: Disabled guests in sections 101-106, 148-150 and 403-416 should use the elevator located in the southwest corner of the stadium, near Gate 1. Disabled guests in sections 140-147 and 430-443 should use the elevator in the southeast corner of the stadium, near Gate 2. Disabled guests in sections 113-133 and 217229 should use the elevator between Gates 2 and 3 in the north end zone. WHEELCHAIR ESCORT SERVICE: The Wheelchair Escort Service is available at all perimeter gates of the stadium. This service will assist disabled patrons from the entrance gate to their assigned seat. The Wheelchair Escort Service will return post-game to pick up patrons at their assigned seats and will return them to their original entry gate. If disabled patrons need constant use of a wheelchair, we ask that they provide their own. The Wheelchair Escort Service is intended to relieve those in need of the initial long entry and exit walks. PRE-GAME DROP-OFF / POST-GAME PICK-UP PROCEDURES: Drop-off: A designated drop-off location has been created at Gate 1, to allow those with a disability to be dropped off as close as possible to EverBank Field. Drivers who drop off disabled patrons should enter Lot M (use entrance at Georgia Street and Adams Street) and tell the parking attendant and the police officer that you are dropping off a guest with disabilities. Once the guest has been dropped off, the driver must exit Lot M if he/she does not have a parking pass for that lot. Please note that cars found in designated lots without the proper pass will be towed at the owner’s expense.
Pick-up: Post-event traffic will flow away from the stadium for approximately 30 – 45 minutes after the game. Disabled patrons can use the Post-game Golf Cart Shuttle Service (Gate 1) or wait at the closest gate location until the traffic pattern has returned to two-way. PORTABLE SANITATION SERVICES: Due to safety issues surrounding sanitation trucks and portapottie rentals in the Sports Complex Area, Amason’s is the exclusive provider for SMG managed facilities. For the safety of fans, other portable restroom companies will not be permitted to solicit business in city-owned parking lots and property in the Sports Complex Area. For reservations, call 904-276-4829.
