So What is a Conversation? According to googles definitions it is
“a talk, especially an informal one, between two or more people, in which news and ideas are exchanged.’’ A more indepth definition would be
“a conversation is an interactive form of communication in which give and take of information, thoughts and feelings occur, it may be verbal or in sign.

I know what it sounds like but it is not what you think, when we say a conversation with oneself the research is not for me to sit in a dark room for 12 a week having a fascinating conversation with my own voice which
could eventually turn into an arguement over views even though its the same person talking...yeah this can happen. Woops just went off track there. Anyway, no I won’t be recording myself while
having a friendly chat with my mirror, I will be analysing the conversations I have been icluded in, meaning the conversations that have went on around me, ofcourse they aren’t all one to one interactions, they take place in more than one form.
VERBAL NON-VERBAL
WRITTEN There are also different ATTITUDES to a conversation. The attitude can be based on the environment, circumstances and who is being spoken to. To break in down into a general list they attitude would be a certain way in the following environments.

FIGHT In the next page I will list as many different mediums of conversations that I myself am a part of. Please don’t be alarmed by the randomness as that is how the next page will literally look like. You may find some of the thoughts to be on the ‘WTH’ side but hey you don’t see me looking at you with a condescending stare with an air of feeling superior as I found someone with a more weird brain than mine...ok I’m getting sidetracked again, let’s move on to the next page and view it with an open mind.
e M W e Live e M in an e M Opinionated World With A Polished Persona

in I believe we live in the epitome of a self centered world thanks to social media. There are very little evidence but many facts just being sprung on us by random strangers who think they have a PhD in ‘know it all’. People who use Facebook and Twitter are less likely than others to share their opinions on hotbutton issues, even when they are offline, according to a surprising new survey by the Pew Research Center. The study, done in conjunction with Rutgers University in New Jersey, challenges the view of social media
as a vehicle for debate by suggesting that sites like Facebook and Twitter might actually encourage selfcensorship. Researchers said they detect what they call the “spiral of silence” phenomenon: Unless people know their audience agrees, they are likely to shy away from discussing anything controversial. In other words, most of us are more comfortable with ice-bucket challenges than political banter. Also as much as random conversation traffic is around there is also another common
thing which is polished personas, now please don’t mistake it for fake as although that surrounds social media as well this is different. It basically means that each person has managed to censor and broadcast their desired personal attributes in hopes of achieving praisal and public approval.

I remember how the ongoings around the world, the wars, the destruction, the progression were considered as such important information to be known back when I was
young, even being a small child i knew more about what was going on in the world back then than I do now. As time passes I have noticed
within myself and others how we just don’t care about it anymore. It seems we much prefer watching silly things that can

create a brief smile on our face and face away from the harsh reality our earth is in now. It could be because we have
grown tired of repetitive rants about global warming, war, disasters with not much done to make changes to it that people have given up on the notion that our world can be
a better place someday and much rather focus their minds on idle and non productive activities to drain and ignore the problems our world continues to face.
TED Talks The Hub of Persuasion
The most famous platform for innovation and the creative industry which has brought about revolution in the design industry just by it being talked about. TED a nonprofit organisation began in 1984 with the goal of spreading ideas in the form of a short presentation. TED began as a conference covering technology, entertainment and design topics and now covers almost all topics to even the serious one’s concerning global issues. TED is a global community, welcoming people from every discipline and culture who seek a deeper understanding of the world. We believe passionately in the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives and, ultimately, the world. On TED.com, we’re building a clearinghouse of free knowledge from the world’s most inspired thinkers — and a community of curious souls to engage with ideas and each other, both online and at TED and TEDx events around the world, all year long.

OPRAHWINFREY The Messiah for Women
“WHAT I KNOW FOR SURE IS THAT WHAT YOU GIVE COMES BACK TO YOU. THAT’S NOT JUST MY THEORY OR POINT OF VIEW - IT’S PHYSICS. LIFE IS AN ENERGY EXCHANGE OF GIVING AND RECEIVING, AND THE WAY TO HAVE WHAT YOU WANT IS TO GIVE WHAT YOU NEED.”
Oprah Winfrey has influenced the way women think, talk, eat, study, shop, exercise and lead. She has changed our every day culture and vernacular to include respect for the emotional and spiritual. She has supported the arts, produced and starred in ground-breaking films that challenge stereo-typing of any sort, and single-handedly revolutionized the book industry and the way we read literature through her focus on-- and love of—books and
reading. Oprah is a powerhouse of a woman who has put her talents, efforts, celebrity and money into shining the spotlight onto those throughout the world who are less advantaged than she, acting to help lift them from that situation—thereby proving beyond a doubt that one woman can indeed change the world. Oprah is often described as one of history’s most powerful women —and
in enormously impressive and profound ways-- she has used all of her power for good.
FREDRICK BERNARD Frederick (Fred) Barnard (London 16 May 1846 – 28 September 1896 London)[1] was a Victorian English illustrator, caricaturist and genre painter. He is noted for his work on the novels of Charles Dickens published between 1871 and 1879 by Chapman and Hall. Barnard concentrated on illustrating scenes other than those that Browne and Dickens had chosen to portray. Whereas Browne was inclined to create dramatic group scenes for his prints, Barnard was more interested in showing the relationships between pairs of characters. At the same time, Barnard also had to seamlessly blend the characters as visualised by Browne with his own style, trying not to deviate too much from their established appearance.
“A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words.’’
Milton Glaser
Milton Glaser (b.1929) is among the most celebrated graphic designers in the United States. He has had the distinction of one-man-shows at the Museum of Modern Art and the Georges Pompidou Center. award. As a Fulbright scholar, Glaser studied with the painter, Giorgio Morandi in Bologna, and is an articulate spokesman for the ethical practice of design. He opened Milton Glaser, Inc. in 1974, and continues to produce a prolific amount of work in many fields of design to this day.
Idea 1
Illustrations depicting how trivial topics are more talked about while important issues normally get one line if even that. This could be through thought provoking posters using typography and minimal illustrations.
Idea 2
Using irony to show the nonchalance of people over serious issues. To depict it I will use crafts to create a child like animation. I may use this opportunity to learn origami as I always like finding different ways to create stuff so why not.

Making the Props
The Shoot
Camera Angles
This was by far the greatest challenge for me as I was to find the perfect angle while keeping in mind about frame and blurs, hence I took many test shots before finding the perfect camera shot. This was mainly difficult
because I have always been weak when it came to photography but with the help of a friend who is an expert in the field I managed to pull through.
The Shoot Lighting
After figuring out the camera angle with which i would be taking consistent pictures of my props next was the lighting tests.
