About Us Ardent Building Developments Ltd serves Hamilton and the greater Waikato, specialising in high quality new residential homes and apartments. We can also do renovations and extensions on your existing home. Steve and Rach Dixon head up the company, overseeing a dedicated team of employees. We use a great team of specialised sub-contractors (electricians, plumbers etc) on our jobs – because of this we can offer you competitive pricing no matter how big or small your job is. We are committed to combining excellent workmanship with great communication in order to give you the best possible service.
The Ardent Team Steve Dixon is the owner/director of the company and is involved in all aspects of each job, from project management to hands-on building work. Steve has been building since 1996 and has owned and run his own company since 2004. Steve is a Registered Master Builder and a Licensed Building Practitioner, holding a Carpentry Licence and a Site 1 Licence.

Our Values Modern Ardent Building Development specializes in innovative new designs and always have an eye on future improvement to any of our previous designs, we are always looking for new ways to improve ourselves.

Company Logo This is our business logo there are many variations so it gives us a variety of marketing options. Please treat it with respect and obey the rules we have set in place for the use of our logo. Any questions on how to use logo refer to this book.

Primary Logo Style 1 This is the main logo and our go to logo when branding how ever this logo can be swapped out for any of the following logo styles depending on the circumstances.
Logo Style 2
This logo is used when doing smaller branding, this is because of readability. The text is removed after a certain size. See clear space rules for more details on this.
Logo Style 3
This landscape style Logo was designed for the purpose of website branding and can also be used on signposts. Again follow sizing and logo rules when using any of these logo styles.
Colour
Black and white logo’s only, no mixing colours and no grey is to be added to the black and white logo’s.

Clear space rules Logo Measurement System For Measurement the outer shape of the logo’s D will be used as a tool to measure the clear space around the logo. Nothing may come within this space and interfere with the logo. Please make sure you follow this rule correctly.
Landscape logo measurement system The same rules apply. No other external element may exceed these measurement. We do not want our logo to be tarnished.

Here are some of the rules for our logo. we would appreciate if you abide by these to the best of your ability.
Do not rotate or stretch our logo
Do no stretch or reshape our logo in anyway, do not draw any extra element on our logo. Obey clearspace rules.

Our Typefaces We have a few type faces that we feel represents us and our values. We would appreciate if our typefaces were left untouched and no other font are used in place of the ones that we have chosen. Also we would advise the use of these type faces for the purpose of what we have listed below.

Our Colours Our blue represents a lot of our values and help market our business to our client more then you would think. We would appreciate if you used the colours we have chosen to brand us as it separates us from our competitors and helps define our company. Below are the mixes in which help create the colours we use in our logo and written text. White is the absence of colour therefore has not been placed below, but is still used in our logos.

Extra Graphic Elements Element 1# This blue boarder can be resized but only in scale to itself. It may not be stretched or edited by other shapes. This boarder is used as a branding element to sides of publications and may also be used on websites.

Element 2# This is part of our logo and can be rotated enlarged to scale. It may not be edited. This element can have its opacity lowed but only to 10%. No other opacity maybe used. This element can also be partially shown poking out of publication as not its full shape. However this may only be possible if this element still retains its former shape. Note: elements 2 and 4 may break the clear-space rules involving the logo as they are part of the logo, they may not however touch the logo in anyway. No other exceptions maybe made. See branding information for more options.
Element 3# This Element Maybe Resized But Not Rotated, The Stroke Size But Stay At 0.5Pt, No Exceptions. Used To Separate Text And Images, Clear Space Rules Apply!

Photo Application Landscape Logo Rules 1: must be placed in the bottom left hand corner 2: may not break clear space rules, see pg 8.

Portrait Logo Rules 1: non text logo maybe placed in the top right corner or the bottom left corner. 2: all logo must not break clear space rules, see pg 8. 3: text logo on photo must be equal to 3 of the logo’s side by side width wise 4: non text logo must be equal to 4 of the logo’s across photo’s.
