Mrs. Mary Lou Brady, 86, wife of Rev. Donald Hix Brady passed from this life to her heavenly home on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at University Hospital, Augusta, Georgia. Mrs. Brady, daughter of the late Howard Ray and Blanch Edith Dempsey was born on September 22, 1934 in Justell, Kentucky; but lived most of her married life of 66 years in Taylor, Michigan and Lincolnton, Georgia. She met her husband, Rev. Donald Hix Brady, at Brookes Bible College in St. Louis, Missouri, and they were married July 30, 1954. She was the First Lady of Faith Temple, later Faith Community Church, in Lincolnton, Georgia and Full Gospel Christian Center, in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. From 1954 to 1997 Mrs. Brady led the Women’s Ministries of several churches, organizing multiple conferences and fundraisers during this time. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Floretta Dempsey and brothers, Harlan Lee and Harry Gerald Dempsey. She is survived by her husband, Rev. Donald Hix Brady of Lincolnton, Georgia. Sons, Joby Brady, and wife, Sheryl of Frisco, Texas; Thomas Brady, and wife, Evelyn of Lincolnton, Georgia; Timothy Brady, and wife, Lora of Lincolnton, Georgia. She is also survived by Seven Grandchildren; Eleven Great-grandchildren.
