Science Notebook Setup

Page 1

Presented by J. Buie Portions adopted from A. Holder & D. Saunders

 An interactive notebook is your own personalized journal of learning about science.  A portfolio of your work in ONE convenient spot. This is great for studying for upcoming quizzes & tests.  A great ORGANIZATIONAL tool that gives you permission to be PLAYFUL AND CREATIVE in your responses without "messing up" your notes.  Allows you to be like a REAL SCIENTIST!

The notebook is divided into TWO sections.

 The Left SIDE is “LEFT” for Mr. Buie. This side contains only information given by Mr. Buie. Nothing else should be placed on the LEFT-side pages of your notebook. The left side is for IN-put.  The Right side is where you “WRITE” and contains your creative expansions on the information we cover in class. The right side is for OUT-put.

The notebook is divided into TWO sections. LEFT side is for Mr. Buie RIGHT side is for you.
