CLUB CORREZE is situated on the outskirts of the small picturesque market town of Meymac, the gateway to the Plateau de Millevaches in the Massif Central region of Southern France. We specialise in tailor-made activity and adventure courses for young people based in the stunningly beautiful, unspoilt Correzian countryside, these courses can equally incorporate sporting, language and cultural components. CLUB CORREZE is 25 years old this year, please come and help us celebrate.
Pricing - The prices at CLUB CORREZE are based on a coach of 50 students and 5 free Teacher places. Our 9 nights (7 night’s onsite and a nights coach travel each way) pricing is as follows;
● *May £399...June £449...July £449...August £449...September £449 (plus vat) ● All prices are based on a 9 night duration, with 7 nights Full Board at the resort ● It is possible to depart at the end of the 7th day in order to make the visit a 6 nights onsite, 8 night overall duration We would be pleased to quote for smaller groups, but please be aware the fixed costs of coach transport and ferry crossings will make the per student rate higher. Of course you could talk to other local schools and see if they would like to share a trip in order to make the prices cheaper for both parties. We are also able to quote for more than one coach, so for larger parties please just email or ring us here at JCA and we will do all we can to accommodate you. CLUB CORREZE programmes are designed to introduce young people to an array of exciting new experiences. These new experiences can reveal and stimulate hidden skills and aptitudes and provide essential elements for each child’s personal development. For many it may be the first time away from home. CLUB CORREZE offers a warm and reassuringly safe environment, perfect for the development of social skills. Fellowship and teamship are developed and encouraged between the children and their group and activity leaders. The children do not need any previous experience to take part and enjoy our activities. ACTIVITIES
The location of the activities at CLUB CORREZE are truly stunning. The coach stays with the group throughout the week in order to easily visit the locations where some of the activities take place. There has been a complete upgrade of activity equipment in preparation for the 2011 season and new exciting additions are planned by Michel for the High Ropes Course at Chateau du Val.
Watersports - These take place on the nearby lake of Sechemailles. It is an ideal site for our
watersports centre with 42 hectares of blue tranquillity surrounded by deep green Correzian woodland. A superb cafĂŠ area overlooking the lake is ideal for Teachers to watch the students take part in their watersports activities. CLUB CORREZE employs qualified, motivated watersports leaders.
Sailing Boarding Kayaking Canadian Canoeing On land adventure - The Club Correze centre is surrounded by rich mixed forest ideal for Orienteering and Rambo Ramble (a muddy back to nature experience!) The local area has a maze of small and safe tracks for Mountain Biking which can be enjoyed with the bonus of tremendous views. Mountain Biking Orienteering Rambo Ramble Down at the Dordogne - We can include a full day out in the breathtaking upper gorges of the
River Dordogne, where we abseil amongst incredible natural beauty and explore hidden places with an invigorating stream scramble. This day is amazing with superb scenery for the teachers and students to enjoy, just see the pictures in this brochure!
Abseiling Stream Scrambling Chateau Du Val - The Chateau du Val, close to the market town of Bort Les Orgues which straddles
the River Dordogne is one of the most beautiful fairy tale castles in France. In its shadow stands the Val Adventure High Ropes Course with many elevated physical challenges and exhilarating zip wires. The adventure course through the forest requires students to move from tree to tree with the help of nets, tunnels and ropes. A small supplement of approximately 17 Euros per student is payable locally.
On site multi activity - At the CLUB CORREZE centre we offer facilities for rifle shooting, archery, fencing, indoor climbing and all manor of team building challenges.

ACCOMMODATION
CLUB CORREZE offers a safe and secure environment. Comfortable hostel style accommodation is provided for up to 190 people in five buildings with dining and indoor facilities. Young guests sleep in bunk beds in small dormitories which hold between four and ten people with adjoining toilet and shower facilities. The centre has been in a period of renovation with a new roof on the administration/bar building and new heating systems in the restaurant, St Angel and Maussac accommodation buildings. We are completing the upgrade of the Millevache accommodation area into all en-suite rooms during this winter period.
FOOD
Food is plentiful and of high quality using fresh local ingredients. Meals include buffets and barbecues as well as traditional three course dinners. There is a bistro with Sky TV and a tuck shop with a video arcade.
SAFETY
Our mission at CLUB CORREZE is to provide safe enjoyable adventurous activities with learning as a bonus. At CLUB CORREZE we understand the concerns parents may have when their children are away from home and that is why the safety and enjoyment of our young guests is our paramount concern. Our instructors are fully national governing body qualified, or in the absence of an appropriate award will have received comprehensive in-house training. Parties are divided into groups with the staff to pupil ratio strictly within governing body guidelines for each activity.

Equipment - We ensure that children are kitted out with activity equipment which conforms to European safety standards. Approved buoyancy aids and head-gear are provided and must be worn. LOCATION CLUB CORREZE is perfectly situated in the southern part of the Limousin, making it easy to organise day-trips to places of interest in the surrounding regions of the Auvergne, the Lot and the Dordogne. CLUB CORREZE is on the border of the town of MEYMAC: a medieval town built in pink granite, nestling in a depression at the foot of the ‘Plateau de Millevaches’ at an altitude of 2500 ft. The surrounding hills are largely covered by woodlands which give the town its special character. The original village was built around the Benedictine monastery and protected in medieval times by a fortified enclosure of which a few vestiges remain today. During your stay at CLUB CORREZE there will be many an opportunity to visit Meymac and explore its winding stone paved lanes.
Sample Itinerary - The standard itinerary for a Club Correze school adventure is shown below. The coaches depart from the school on a Wednesday, Friday or Saturday at a time schedule to fit in with the Dover ferry crossing, so the departure time will vary dependant on how far away from Dover the school is located. The arrival at Club Correze is the next day, so arriving on a Thursday, Saturday or Sunday. The school then stays onsite on a full board basis until the following Thursday, Saturday or Sunday (7 nights), when they will depart at midday and arrive back at the school on Friday, Sunday or Monday.
