Soccer

Start Smart Soccer

3-4 year olds

A parent-child developmental program that prepares young athletes for organized sports. Parents, whose participation is mandatory, work with their children in a structured environment and learn how to properly teach and support their children in sports. Participants receive a t-shirt and participation award.

Pre-K Soccer League

4-5 year olds

Games will be played 5-on-5 without goalies, allowing for more touches of the ball and higher player participation. Emphasis is placed on skill development during practices. Program begins with practices, followed by games. Participants receive a team jersey and trophy. This program is parent/coach led.

Youth Soccer Training Program

K-6th grade

Boost your soccer skills with staff from the St. Louis CORE Soccer Training Club! You’ll learn and improve through soccer training utilizing drills and small game play. Participants receive a jersey.

Individual or Team Basketball Training

1st-12th grade

Basketball training focuses on core fundamentals for all skill levels. All parts of the game will be worked on. Private workouts are customized to meet the specific needs of the player. Group workouts are great for discounted pricing and offer team skill building. Take your game to the next level.

Basketball J Academy ____________________________

K-5th grade

The J Academy is is the top group training program in the St. Louis area. Players will learn the fundamentals of basketball that include passing, shooting, and ball handling. This program will challenge players in small group play by introducing strength and conditioning as well as agility drills. J Academy offers a unique opportunity for beginner, intermediate, and advance level players to refine fundamentals, learn to play the game of basketball, and stand out on the court.

Basketball

Start Smart Basketball 3-4 year olds

Basketball Pre-K League

4-5 year olds

Specifically designed for kids enrolled in Pre-K, this league starts with practices where players focus on learning how to shoot, dribble, pass and have fun playing as a team. The season concludes with games. Teams are coached by volunteer parents and consist of up to eight players. Games played at either J location. Session format is 20 minute practice followed by games led by coaches.

Youth Basketball League

Registration is open for boys’ and girls’ teams. Gender-specific divisions will be formed based on enrollment. Full package for K-2nd grade includes a weekday practice at either J location, 10 weekend games and a uniform. The 3rd-8th grade league features 10 weekend games with option of adding on practices and a J uniform.

J Basketball Skills Academy K-8th grade

J Basketball Skills Academy focuses on core fundamentals for all skill levels. Areas of concentration include shooting mechanics, speed and controlled dribbling, on- and-off ball defense, footwork, and offensive and defensive principles. Fee includes a jersey, seven weeks of training and small game play.

High School Basketball League

9th-12th

grade

Team signups accepted with individual signups placed based on availability. Teams must supply coach at least 21 years old. Boys’ and girls’ divisions created based on enrollment. League features eight games with option of adding on practice space and/or team jerseys for additional costs. Weeknight practices held at the J with weekend & weeknight games held at both J locations. Practices begin in December; games in January. Team registrations are first-come, first served.

Martial Arts

Yong Shins / Little Ninjas

4-6 year olds

An introductory class into the world of Taekwondo. This nationally accredited program introduces discipline and respect with a focus on fitness, control and technique. Little ones will have fun learning and training while building confidence and coordination.

Instructors determine the appropriate class level for students. Training uses a combination of combat techniques, self-defense, sport, exercise, meditation, entertainment and philosophy. Students will develop and refine skill and build and acquire strength, self-confidence, knowledge and control.

Basketball ___________________________________

Men’s Competitive & Recreational Basketball Leagues __18 years and older

The most spirited league in the area includes two 20-minute halves with a running clock, except for timeouts and with under two minutes left in each half. Max roster: 12 players. Games played at Creve Coeur (SFC) or Chesterfield (Fox) depending on number of teams registered. Team registration required with complete payment.

Competitive Leagues: players with high school and college experience

Recreation Leagues: players with less high school play and/or regular pick-up game experience.

*Leagues may be combined if minimum number of teams is not reached in league*

101 Pickleball Clinic

18 years and older

The 101 class will cover safety, court terminology, types of shots, rules, scoring, and how to play doubles. This clinic is perfect for those who have never played or are just starting out and want to learn the basics.

The 202 class will cover strategy, court movement, shot selections, proper ball placement, and advanced shots such as cross court dinking and 3rd shot drops. This clinic is perfect for those who are currently playing the game regularly.

The 303 class is for players who play regularly at a 3.0+ level and want to improve their game.

Pickleball League

Our pickleball leagues are for all ages and skill levels. Players can expect to play for 1.5 hours each session (6 total games per league day). Our schedules are made in advance, but league members are given access to the league manager at all times to request scheduling accommodations. Teams must register together. Leagues will be divided into Rec Players, Intermediate Players and Advanced Players.

Coed Adult Volleyball League

18 years and older

The Adult Volleyball program is available for both competitive and recreational levels. Each season consists of seven regular season games and a single elimination tournament for the top four teams. Max roster: 12 players. Games played at Creve Coeur (SFC) or Chesterfield (Fox) depending on number of teams registered. Team registration required with complete payment.

Volleyball Drop-In Sessions provide extra practice time to to sharpen skills, and give a chance to work on individual or team playing skills. Scrimmages are encouraged with adequate participants. Advance registration is required.

Guaranteed weekly court time! Players need to play regularly to ensure a rewarding experience. League and tournament winners will receive credit towards a future league.
