Cheyutha - Helping a kid suffering from Thalassemia 2nd May 2022 - Programs
Project Chairperson
JC Chaitanya Vasanthavada As a part of Cheyutha program, Project Chairperson, JC Chaitanya V donated Rs 5000 to a kid named Sayeed Yashin for his Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) operation.
Yashin is suffering from Thalassemia and has been undergoing regular blood transfusion from 6 months of his age. The only curative option is Bone Marrow Transplantation. His family is from Dowleswaram. BMT will be done at Mahaveer Hospital Bangalore which require an amount of 14 Lakhs. His father Khaleel could arrange 10 Lakhs with the help of some NGO's. This donation was done as a part of fund raising for remaining 4 Lakhs.

Iconic MRF- LO Recognition 7th May 2022 - Growth & Management MRF is Monthly Reporting Format. As all LO (Local Organizations) are affiliated to JCI India, we report all the activities done in that month to JCI India NHQ in the form of MRF, before tenth of the next month. The Zone IV management team of JCI India came up with recognitions for LOs which submit MRF before 5th of every month as ICONIC MRF-LO. JCI Vizag is recognized as one of the Iconic MRF-LO for submitting April 2022 MRF before May 5th.

"Mind Your Own Business" and mentored some of the participants who asked a few
queries on business development. During the Business Networking Session, all the participants briefed about their business and the products/services they provide.

plantation
with

saplings
is
done
in
March 2022. VP-Programs, JC Abhishek, visited Ganesh Colony on 14th May 2022, to monitor the growth of the saplings. He spoke to the residents on watering the saplings and how the saplings are protected. He could observe the growth in the saplings after 2 months of plantation.

National Training Day 23rd May 2022 - Training National Training Day is celebrated by organizing an online session on the topic "Leading is our duty". The session is facilitated by Zone Trainer, JC HGF Dr. G Ravi Kumar, President 2022, JCI Ongole. It is a positive and an interactive session on Leadership, Importance of Leadership and Qualities of an Effective Leader. 18 JC's from multiple LO's attended the session.

Fifth LO Governing Board Meeting 23rd May 2022 - Management Fifth LO Governing Board Meeting was held virtually in Zoom Platform, on 23rd May from 8:30 PM. Nine LGB members attended the meeting. The key JCI Members from LO who attended is JFM S Ravi Kanth Reddy. Officers reports for April-2022 were presented, followed by discussion of several new business. Every LGB Meet is a stage for learning something new and the newly elected officers were very keen to learn and participated actively in the meeting.

Our Best Practices How to Use JCI Logo?

We do many programs and events where we prepare flyers, posters, videos and many more where we need to use JCI Logo. JCI has a framed a set of guidelines in Corporate Identity Guide on how to use the Logo and how to prepare our LO Logo. Poster is created by Secretary, JC Chaitanya Vasanthavada, Secretary of JCI Vizag, as a part of Our Best Practices project by JCI Vizag - a project which intends to bring out and share good practices with all LOs across the globe.

As a need of the hour, an online session on Menstrual Hygiene Awareness is organized by JCI Vizag. The session is facilitated by Dr. Niharika Allu, MS(OBG), DVB. where some important topics like vaccination cycle, How to maintain Hygiene, reasons for Cancer are discussed. Some of the participants asked a few queries at the end of the session. 11 members attended the wonderful session.

Box of Kindness Programs Box of kindness is the project initiated by Past President 2004,
JC Garuda Brahmaji
and has
been serving many through this project since then. JCI Vizag continues its effort to provide food for the needy. Anyone can leave the food they wish to donate and anyone who needs it can take. JC HGF Avinash donated Rs.200 on 28th May. Few instances of providing food and water at Box of Kindness located at Seahorse Junction.
