Food donation:

Donated 200 Maaza packs worth Rs. 2000 at Omkar Lions School for deaf. Jr JC Anshu Ravi is the coordinator for JCI Week Day 1. JC HGF Avinash Garlapati donated Rs 1500 and JC Sri Kavya donated Rs 500. JC Dr. Madhuri Collooru, JC HGF Kavya Pentakota, Jr JC Anshu Ravi and JC Sri Kavya participated in distribution.

Itwasin2002thatIndiraGaruembarkedwiththemeagresumof5,000 rupeestofinanciallysupportherfamily.Withastoveandtwohelpers,she beganmakingsnacks.Afterreceivingapositiveresponse,sheintroducedthe spongedosa,whichwentontobecomehersignaturedish.Hertiffinssoon becamecrowdpullersandhercustomersnamedtheoutletasAunty’sKitchen. 10th September 2022 - PR & Marketing

Dental Treatment Camp:

A dental treatment camp is organized at Lebenshilfe at which 20 students are screened for dental issues.

President, JC Dr. Madhuri Collooru and Dr. Sindhusha Deepthi has done the screening. Two of them required comprehensive treatment planning. 4 required extractions, 3 required clean up. They required consent from the parent or Principal for procedures, so treatments were deferred to a later date in October 2nd week.

JC Dr. Charisma is the Coordinator for Day 4 JCI Week Activities.

Seminar on E-Waste Management: JC Leela Rani Alla facilitated a session on E-waste Management at St. Joseph College, Visakhapatnam. 70 Students attended the seminar. The seminar is followed by the elocution and an exhibition on reuse of single use plastic.
