Message from Editor

The entire India celebrates Republic Day in the month of January. Along with that, we at JCI Vizag celebrated our 34th Installation ceremony on 12th January 2023.

We congratulate JC Kavya Nalluri for being appointed as Secretary 2023 and JC Vaghira Jonnada as Treasurer 2023 for JCI Vizag.

This second edition of Niranthar, JCI Vizag's Monthly Bulletin gives you a brief view of the different activities done by JCI Vizag, and various announcements made by JCI India and by Zone IV in the month of January 2023.

We have started an article series "Know the SDG's" which list out the Targets and Indicators of each SDG. This month covers SDG 1 and SDG 2

Visit to Kendriya Vidyalay Waltair

PR & Marketing - 20th January 2023

JCI Vizag President, JC Prabhakar Botta, along with JC Srikavya Nalluri, JC Dr. Charisma, JC Yogesh and JC Sitarama Raju has visited Kendriya Vidyalaya Waltair and met our Past President JC Rekha Grandhi and Principal Sri Kamal Jeet to discuss the yearly activities that can be done in their school along with other special day events like Republic Day etc. They have discussed about the UNSDG goals logos to be painted in the school premises along with the awareness session that can be organised for the children to create awareness on the global problems and to be more responsible towards the society.

Saplings Plantation

Programs - 26th January 2023

50 saplings plantation was organized by JCI Vizag at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Waltair as a start of 1000 saplings plantation drive. JCI Vizag members and Kendriya Vidyalaya students together planted the Saplings.

First LO Governing Board Meeting

Management- 26th January 2023

1stLOGoverningBoardmeeting was held in a Physical Mode at Web India, Siripuram, on 26th January from 7:00 PM. Eleven LGB members attended the meeting. The key JCI members from LO who attended is JFM S Ravi Kanth Reddy, who gave a brief to all the members on how to discuss various Old Business and New Business.

JC Yogesh Kumar Mali took oath as Vice President Training and JC Chandra Mohan Pasari took oath as LO Relationship Officer.

It was a productive meeting with Vice Presidents giving their Plan of Actions and several LGB members giving their ideas for various new programs.

First edition of 2023 Niranthar the monthly bulletin of JCI Vizag was launched on 30th January in various JCI WhatsApp groups. 2023 JCI ASPAC Registration Announcement Internationalism

JCI India announced that the registrations are open for 2023 JCI Asia-Pacific Conference which is being held at Jakarta, Indonesia from 10 – 13 May 2023 and announced a subsidy for the initial registrations.

Zone IV announced that 2023 Presidential Academy for Zone IV, Zone IX and Zone XII will be hosted by JCI Vizag Smart which is to be held from 17-19 February 2023 at City of Destiny, Visakhapatnam.

LOTS 2023 Announcement Zone IV News

JCI India Zone IV announced that LOTS 2023 will be held on February 25 and 26 at Hotel Anand Regency, Rajahmundry, and that it is being hosted by JCI Rajahmundry Rockstars. A Brochure has been released showing the details of Registration Fee, Nearest available Accommodation, the possible modes of transport and the options for business stalls.

Know the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

The SDG, Sustainable Development Goals which are also called as Global Goals are the objectives adopted by 193 Member States at the UN General Assembly Summit in 2015 and came into effect from 2016.

The 2030 Global Agenda is "Leave No One Behind" which includes 17 Goals and 169 targets that are interlinked and set a vision for Sustainable development, and it is a call for all the nations and people to protect the planet and protect the people by ending the poverty and inequality, ensuring good health and prosperity.
