Configuring the LTE UE

1. The device will issue DHCP, log into it at 192.168.254.251. User and password is admin.

2. Click the Mobile Network icon.

3. Click the Technology tab.

4. Set to LTE Only, click Apply

5. After restart click the status tab and wait until the unit is “Attached”. You are done!

There is also a privileged user and password, “operator” and “wimax” that can see more informtation.

CINR0/CINR 1 are the most relevant and should be your gauge of decent RF conditions. Generally you want the CINR above 10dB although we are currently working on a CPE7K reporting issue that reflects the CINR 6dB less than measured.

Therefore in the example above the actual CINR is 16 dB. Adjust the antenna back and forth and up and down to equalize CINR on both chains, 0 and 1.

The RSRP is the avg measured power per 15KHz pilot therefore is respective of a -­‐ 131dB thermal noise floor. If you wanted to compare the RSRP to an RSSI as measured on other products such as WiFi or WiMAX you should deduct 30dB.
