Learning from Nature
Traditions West plumbing system
How does the nature produce water? • The nature produce potable water basically through the water cycle: evaporation, condensation, transpiration and precipitation., and this very water is the one that we use for everything. • People have could imitate the process of condensation with the help of a cooler system, system that we can find in cars or A/C, the problem with this machine, is that it needs electricity so the compressor inside it can work.
How does the nature filter the water? • The nature also is capable of purify the water that we use, it has many process of water purification, but the one important here is the filtration process. • The nature use certain number of “layers” that act as a filters retaining some of the particles contained in the water, so once the water has passed all the filters, this will be potable.

Oklahoma advantages Wind • Due the location of Oklahoma, this receives wind enough to be able to produce energy • And as I have mentioned before, the cooling system that produces water need energy, so why don’t we take advantage of the wind already present in the area? • Cannot we combine both systems and make our own water for the use of the people in the building. Produced water
Wind energy + cooling system • What happen if we combine the electricity produce by a windmill and the water produce by the cooling system? • We could combine these two, making the turbine small enough to produce the necessary energy to feed the cooling system so this one can produce water for the building. • The cooling system could be incorporated in the same place that the turbine engine already is, this will make the transmission of energy more efficient due the electricity doesn’t need to travel any significant distance. • By doing this we are taking advantage of the geographical position of Oklahoma and the conditions that its landscape has.

Natural filter for water • The nature has been treating water in this way since the beginning, why cant no we use the say method? • The idea is purify as much water as we can, to make this useable again, I am not saying that thisi is going to be potable, but this water would be able to use in toilets for example • Through this actions, what I am trying to propose is to produce our own water, and use this as much as possible before we give it away into the sewage.
