About Jef. EXPERIENCES
VALUES
20 years in the advertising and design industry has made me at ease and adept at media-neutral environments and what is known as ‘integrated’ work.
Nothing excites me more than collaborating with other creative professionals: illustrators, photographers, typographers, copywriters, musicians and sound editors, animators and various artisans. I love a well-thought campaign so I appreciate working with brilliant strategic planners. I believe that our creative future is one where art dovetails with commerce and relevance is determined by conversation.
My experience originates from the world of ‘hardcore’ advertising where creative integrity is drawn from the big idea, honed from the ability to meet harrowing deadlines and where reputation is polished from the ability to work well with your team of project managers and clients.

Moving onto design, I learnt to add skill and expertise in the fields of brand creation, branding and digital mediums. More importantly, I expanded my understanding of the creative process and the importance of craft.
CULTURES
Beyond professional landscapes, I was fortunate to have worked in countries like Singapore, the United Arab Emirates and Australia. It is a thrill to deliver quality work in the face of inter-cultural sensibilities and seeing my work appear in countries like Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the UAE, Sudan, Kuwait, and Central Africa. If anything, these experiences have been valuable in shaping my abilities to empathise.
