Podium Front Building
This hotel has 3 parts, divided by its main function; tower, podium, and front building. The front building acts as the entrance to the hotel, and provides spaces for coworking space, cafe, retail shops, and function hall. All of the wellness spaces such as fitness area, pool, sauna and spa, and specialty restaurant are facilitated in the podium section of this building. Lastly, the hotel’s tower accommodates all of the rooms for the guests.

In the middle of the hotel’s tower, there is a void and skylight that allows the sunlight to penetrate through the spaces within the building.

Siteplan Since the site of this hotel is located in an urban and dense area, the design should consider pedestrian’s comfort. Therefore, a designated circulation from the pedestrian pathway at the entrance through the hotel’s lobby has been designed so the guests can have a smooth and seamless transition experience entering the hotel.
Tower Floorplan In response to the tropical context, this building applies overhang louvers on the facade to avoid glare and heat from direct sunlight.

With the emergence of startup businesses and communities in Bandung, an environment that can facilitate such activities is needed. Starthub is a mixed-use office and startup incubator space, managed by Starthub in collaboration with Gojek, a successful local business that started as a startup company. The goal of this collaboration is to create a positive impact on Bandung’s small business community and sectors such as economic, social, and environment.

Lobby Digital Space Cafe Integrating branding into interior design for an informal and dynamic space experience.
Metal double skin facade with a perforated logo design of Gojek. Creating a subtle but distinctive exterior characteristic on this building.
Using copper as the main material for the second skin on the facade; mimicking the Monument of Tegalega that is located in front of the building.

The podium design was created in such a way in response to the site context, which is a corner lot in front of a city node. While the curvature of the podium is facing straight to the road intersection, two of the towers are facing the roads on the south and west sides of the site, rather than having the same orientation.
The void that is located in the middle of the building massing order is the element that connects all of the masses that are separated by its main functions and zoning.

W. HASYIM PUBLIC PARKING PARK Competition: ADW: Singgah Year 2020 In collaboration with Marsella Ho
Menteng district is one of the ‘lively’ area in the city of Jakarta. With the high rate of productivity and mobility of the neighborhood, this area always feel like its very crowded with cars and motorcycle. Located near a train station, the people that came from around the city is also one thing that impacted the density of this district.
A public parking park could be the solution of the problems in this area. The public parking space can provide space for cars or motorcycle that used to park on the road side. This could create a safe environment for pedestrian and decrease the rate of traffic in that area.

W.HASYIM PUBLIC PARKING PARK
The goal is; this space can become the place where people from different backgrounds can gather in one place without any forced initiative. The parking space and food plaza is where people from any background can come to use and enjoy.
The main plaza of the park can be used for street food markets and as a meeting point or a resting area for people passing by.

Exterior Views
Miss Bee is a restaurant and cafe located in Ciumbuleuit, Bandung. In that area, the weather is usually nice and cool because of the massive existing pine trees that are located around this place. In front of the restaurant, there is a garden with swings and seesaws but the client wanted the garden to be more functional for adults and kids. They requested a garden with turtle and rabbit habitat, small huts, and picnic tents to create more space for the guests to enjoy.

The keywords for this garden renovation design are playful, picnic, dynamic, and with a subtle touch of traditional elements to represent Bandung. Therefore, the result of this conceptual design mainly focuses on the outdoor and landscape experience to create more activities in the garden.

Plantarcana is a cafe that also sells various types of plants. By using ‘Greenhouse’ as the theme for this cafe, the colors that are used for material selection are white, gray, brown, and green. Exterior View

There are two main functions in this building. Due to this, there needs to be an appropriate zoning placements for each activity; eating area for guests, plants display, ordering bay/ bar, and service area. But since the space is quite narrow and small, instead of using a massive room partition, using elements such as display table, bar, and circulation as a zone divider seem to be more suitable.

Final Result
There are some challenges in the design process of Plantarcana. Dividing the space according to the activities is one of them. Because of the small space, it is quite tricky to maximize guest’s seating while having some more functions in this cafe. Besides that, this cafe was built with a limited budget, so there needs to be some compromises on choosing the materials and furniture.

This bedroom is a relatively large space in this house. With its large space, the user of this room could feel the lonely and cold atmosphere if the design was not suitable for this kind of space. Therefore, the appropriate design for this room is to use warm materials such as wood and carpet, and applying line details on the wooden panel walls. Hanging or placing framed paintings and pictures is also possible to make large spaces feel cozy and less intimidating.
