NEXTGENMINISTRIES NURSERY (BIRTH TO 2 YEARS)

Children at this precious age are nurtured on Sunday mornings while listening to worship music, playing, and getting a little snuggle time with caregivers who love Jesus and care for them. Nursery care is available both services.

KIDS (K3 TO 5TH GRADE)

Through these early childhood years, our goal is to provide an environment for kids that allows them to discover the God who created them, the Jesus who loves them and the Holy Spirit who empowers kids to make a difference in the world around them. Programming is offered during the school months of September through May.

STUDENTS (6TH TO 12TH GRADE)

Student Ministries exists to provide opportunities for youth to experience a growing depth of relationship with God and an increasing likeness to Jesus Christ. We provide opportunities for students to connect with God and each other. On Sunday mornings and throughout the week students interact in a safe, affirming environment where questions and lively discussion are encouraged. New or visiting students are welcome to participate at any time. Middle School meets during our 9AM service and High School meets during our 10:30AM service.

GET CONNECTED

New to Meadowbrook or just looking to learn a little about us and perhaps make some connections with others? This is a good place to start! Get Connected groups form periodically and meet for three-to-four weeks on Sunday mornings, providing you with an opportunity to learn about the mission and ministries of Meadowbrook, meet some of our key leaders, and get ideas about what might be next. If this sounds good, contact Dick Adam (adamfam@tds.net) or Tony Stewart (tony.stewart@zimmer.com) or make a note on one of or connection cards & drop it in the offering plate.

DISCOVERY CLASS

Part of our mission at Meadowbrook Church is to provide opportunities for you to DISCOVER who Jesus is and what a life with him looks like. Our DISCOVERY class is the beginning of these steps. We encourage those who are exploring the Christian faith or are simply new to Meadowbrook to begin by joining this class on Sunday mornings. It is a wonderful way to learn more about the church and begin to make connections with others in the congregation. For more information, please contact Scott Hoggatt at scott.hoggatt@gmail.com or Tom Cooper at coopfam2004@yahoo.com.

SUNDAYMORNINGCOMMUNITIES

Visitors are always welcome to come and check out the First Hour Community. We are a multi-generational group focused on the study and application of God's Word along with time for food, fellowship, and prayer. A typical Sunday will feature a Bible study from either the Old or New Testament as well an occasional visit from one of our missionaries or other special guest. This winter and spring we are working through Paul's letter to the Ephesians and discovering its implications for our lives. We also include special times of fellowship, such as a brunch, and we provide opportunities to serve with others in the group in a variety of outreaches aimed at connecting with the wider community beyond the church itself. Being part of a Community (either first-hour or second-hour) is a great way to become more integrated into Meadowbrook Church.

In September, the Certalic/Purcell community will continue their study of the Book of Genesis that had begun in January, taking one chapter per week. The group is discussion oriented, studying each chapter to see what members learn about God and themselves, and where we can find hope and encouragement in each chapter. Several members of the community take turns facilitating the class each week.
