Hey Division 39 South!

I hope all of your months are off to a fantastic start! It is crazy to think that we have 4 more months left in the school year; likewise, we roughly 2 more months in this Key Club year!

Nonetheless, it is still 2 months that can be used serving your homes, schools and communities.

Continue to work hard! I am proud of each of you!

This month, work on getting your new officers elected! They should be elected by the end of the month! The month of March should be used for them to shadow the current officers so they have an expectation of what to do when they step into office. Please let me know when you plan on either training or electing officers! I would love to help!

DCON is very close! Be sure to be preparing any competitions you will participate in, and getting ready both physically and mentally for an amazing weekend! Have a great month and hope to hear from you!

February 7th, March 5th, and April 5th Last Monthly Reports of the Year February 28th - 2014-2015 Club Officers should be elected March 15th- Early DCON Registration Deadline April 24th-27th- District Convention

DCON REGISTRATION IS OPEN It’s that time of year again! The early registration fee for DCON is $120 per person and the early registration deadline is March 15, 2014. Be sure to register before then to ensure you don’t have to pay the regular fee of $150 per person. But before you do this, you must make your hotel reservations at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel. To reserve your rooms, call the Sheraton at 214.922.8000. Then submit your convention registration online and mail your convention registration fees as instructed by tokeyclub.com You cannot make room reservations through the T-O District office. Be sure to inform the hotel that you are with the Texas-Oklahoma Key Club Convention to ensure you get our discounted convention block rate of $140 per room per night (plus tax). Note that it is a requirement that all convention attendees stay at the appropriate convention hotel. Failure to register at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel will effectively cancel your convention registration

Your 2014-2015 Lt. Governor is‌ Andrew Loh! At our PCM/DEC that took place on February 1, Andrew Loh was voted by the division to serve as the 2014-2015 Lieutenant Governor. He is currently a Junior at Mansfield High School and is the club president of Mansfield High School Key Club. Congratulations Andrew! You are going to do a great job with Division 39 South!

Although Andrew was elected, his term does not begin until DCON is over and the new Key Club year has begun!

Reports are due on the 7th this month due to weather! Be sure to get them in!
