Here it is—the last newsletter of the 20142015 Key Club term! In the past year, we’ve accomplished so much as a Division and a District. In addition, each and every Key Clubber has put in their own amazing amount of hours and truly exemplified the core values. Caring is our way of life, and that’s what makes Division 32 the best division. This year, we have increased in membership and DCON attendees, saved hundreds of lives, and put in thousands of hours of service— all because of caring members like you. Be proud to be a DRAGON!

from your lieutenant governor My dearest division, Almost four years ago, I attended one of my first Key Club events outside of my home club— a joint fundraiser between Kent-Meridian and Kentridge. When the event was over, my parents were still thirty minutes away and everyone was leaving while I prepared to sit in a sketchy parking lot and wait. Instead, KentMeridian Key Clubbers saw that my ride wasn’t there and they did something natural to them— their entire club sat and waited with me until I was picked up. It was a simple act of caring. But to me, it opened doors. It showed me what being a Key Clubber truly means, and how one act of kindness can go such a long way. Most of those Key Clubbers have long since graduated. But their impact still lasts. I still see Kent-Meridian Key Clubbers waiting for their friends to get picked up. And I myself have strived for the past years to be the best Key Clubber I can. In these past four years, I have had the privilege of being a member, then sophomore class representative, then Club Secretary, then Club Vice President, and finally Lt.G in this Division. Therefore, I reiterate this because I’ve found it to be true: With our without a position in Key Club, you have the ability to make a difference in other people’s lives. When I was appointed as your Lieutenant Governor last summer, you gave me the greatest gift— not just your acceptance, but your caring. It’s been an honor to work with you all— and also a great pleasure to get to know so many of you. I’ll always remember the memories we’ve made: watching Alan sing “Let it Go” at House of Delegates, holding up the dragon at DCON with so much pride, mispronouncing “bologna” at the officer training, wrapping presents at the Forgotten Children’s Fund, attempting to acquire bouncy balls at Sno-King, and so much more. Division 32, thank you for some of the best few months of my life. I hope that I have been able to pave the way for others to follow their dreams in service, just like inspirational leaders did for me. As my Key Club journey comes to an end, there are some people I would like to thank. To Alan Yeh, Nguyen Huynh, and James Eng: Thanks for being the best role models possible. To Sue Owens: You have given me so much guidance and support this year and I couldn’t have done this without you. To my amazing advisors, Mrs. Wong and Ms. Morrissey: Thank you for all the time you’ve sacrificed and all the oversight you’ve given. To Hakikat Bains: I’ll always be your little #SEXYTARY. To Allen Truong, Yen Le, Raphael Enrico, and Tracy Tran: You helped me grow so much, and I hope I have made you proud. And lastly, to the 684 members of Division 32: You give me 684 reasons to serve. While it is sad for me to say goodbye, I am also so happy knowing that Division 32 is in good (and gentle) hands. I know that Kim will do even more for our division this upcoming year. Kim, you are such a caring and amazing individual and we are all rooting for you. I am confident that you’ll lead Division 32 to even greater heights. Thank you all so much for being the best division any LTG could ever ask for. Please remember: even after I retire, I’m still always here for you. Never be afraid to send a text, Facebook message, email, etc. if you need anything. I love you all!
In love and service,
Jenny Feng 4

Anything is possible! Because with every accomplishment, starts with the decision to try. Key Club took a try and that changed my life. I am surrounded by the passion of service that has influenced me to grow into a leader in the PNW District. My name is Kim Anh Tran and I will be the Lieutenant Governor of Division 32 from 2015-2016. I am so excited to be part of the amazing Key Club board for this year! I enjoy laughing and smiling all day, while I clumsily eat chocolate with my buddies. I play the piano and also tennis, but most importantly Art and Crafts are so much more fun. I love the beautiful outdoors when I get the chance to go hiking, camping, and traveling. I want to see more of this beautiful world, and more of caring, our way of life!

FEBRUARY DCM RECAP Our February DCM was an ice skating fundraiser at SnoKing in Renton! Key Clubbers came and bonded, while raising money for the Eliminate Project. Thank you to everyone who came— we are one step closer to eliminating MNT from the world. It was great to get to know a lot of you more personally as well! The next DCM will be led by Kim, as her term is starting soon! I know it’ll be awesome and I can’t wait to see what she plans.

OFFICER WILLS Kim L.: I know decisions can be hard sometimes, but I have faith that you'll be able to take the initiative to make the right decision to carry on the foundation we, and the officers before us, have built. I'm so proud of you for breaking out of your shell and taking over as President. You have a good group of kids with you, so don't be afraid to rely on them to help you out! Calvin: Stay on task and help Madam President when she needs it. It's been a lot of fun watching you grow over the last two years and I can't wait to see where you'll be by the end of your senior year. P.S. Keep my brother in check Simon: You're a such sweet person, don't ever change. I'm glad you'll be driving next year so you won't have to walk everywhere. Even if you didn't mind walking, I still felt so bad whenever I couldn't take you home. Make sure you keep track of the money and have fun during your term! P.S. Keep my brother in check LB: I wish I talked to you more over the school year! But stay loud, stay spirited and help Ms. Bulletin Editor with taking lots of pictures at events. P.S. Keep my brother in check Kim H.: My little 2nd grade reading buddy and 6th grade camper, you've grown into such a beautiful person. I wish you the best in the rest of high school and a great term as bulletin editor! Nathan: Hey boy boy. Update hours more often than I did and try to keep papers as organized as possible. Don't use attendance/signup sheets as homework scratch paper like I did hahaha. Just know that I'm really proud of you and that you're the best brother anyone could ever ask for. Love you lots, we're making our own legacy this year!!"

Congratulations to all of the incoming officers! I wish you the best of luck with your terms. Here is what your outties “willed” you:
Kimberly- Looking forward to working with you! Simon/Darke- You better make bank HAMMIE. Get 100 gurls on the beach. LETS MAKE THIS TERM FANTABULOUS! Stay Swaggy, stay young bb Lb- Like my mixtape, be SUPA HOT FIRE LIKE A 32 DRAGON!!!
To Kimberly, Calvin, Nathan, Simon, Kim, and Lb: I will to all of you the patience, time and passion to get things done. Patience, because you all have six minds that function differently so you must have the patience to hear each other out. Time, because when you have things to do there never seems to be enough of it. And passion, because when things get difficult you must remember what you’re doing all this work for. I have faith and trust that our club will reach new heights under the reign of you six. Make me proud and have fun! To Kim Ha! I'm so excited to see what you can offer, make sure everyone knows how great you are when you're the next editor. I'll always be here if you need me!

To Emily S. - You're my mini and I know you'll honor the greatest name anyone could ever have; To Tony V. - Way to represent the males in our club (PS you still have to shave your legs as VP); To Kim T. - Stay weird. I believe in you to count the Trick-Or-Treat for UNICEF $; To Kimmy N. - Stay flowery & use your natural organization skills for good; To Jennifer L. Don't be afraid to be as weird as Kim was as PR; To Isabelle & Ebsitu - Spread the motto to our friends outside of Key Club. To Carolyn, Luis, Aishah and Yuna: Inclusiveness, you gotta have that. Service, you gotta bring that. Supa hot fiyah, you gotta spit that. You guys will be great! To my innie, Sarah: My greatest advice to you is don't be like Navid but be exactly like Navid. Throw as many highlighters as you need to, but remember to keep Kentwood Key Club's legacy live and well! Also try not to injure our advisor like we have every year. Welcome officers!
French Fry, you know who you are. I know you can lead Kentridge Key Club to greater heights than I did. Remember, when your eye starts to turn red, take a breather. Olaf, you've already made me proud with how you take initiative. Tiffany, please keep amazing everyone with your creative ideas. Jess Jess, xoxo nuff said. Anthony, expecting some pretty darn good newsletters, I know I yell a lot, but you da homie. Danika, you're already a leader at heart and I can't wait to see the things you'll do."
To Kim Luu, incoming Bulletin Editor for Lindbergh: Kim. You’re beyond talented, and therefore going to do talented things during your term. I’m so proud to have Kenji and now you take on the editor position. It’s the best one on the entire board because we actually have fun. You may think I’m biased, but I’m not actually. Here are some tips I have for you: 1) sit down with a calendar and set all your newsletter release dates now. You won’t want to get them done if you don’t have deadlines. 2) Save your work every other minute. 3) Bring a camera to DCON. My sophomore year, I forgot. It was unfortunate. 4) Make beautiful posters at the beginning of the year. Beautiful posters attract beautiful people. 5) Next year, you should write announcements for the intercom to remind people of meetings. They needed to be emailed to the admin by noon the day before, so I’d work with Ms. Robbins or Mrs. Tan to write those announcements in time for Monday morning. 6) Listen to Kenji. He’s very talented and knows what he’s talking about. 7) Lastly, have fun. You’re going to have an awesome senior year. Holla at me if you need anything, ever.
Dear Randy, I’m proud that you took the initiative to be an officer and leader for our club! I look forward to amazing newsletters from you, I know you have that creativity! BE THE BULLETIN EDITOR YOU KNOW YOU CAN BE. I would like to give my innie aka Tiffany Wong my swag love. –Kathleen Nguyen
