PRINTING ON TEXTILES
year : 2021
Group Project: Evgenia Dickins, Melisa Ozyurek, Karan Pirgal software: Rhino, Grasshopper
The main objective is to design and print a wearable bracelet using Parametric modelling tools and software such as Rhino 7, Grasshopper & Karamba 3D. The design will be 3D printed on pre stretched Spandex Lycra Fabric using TPU 95 Filament . The pre stretched fabric & filament will be responsible to form the shape of the bracelet.

ROBOTIC FABRICATION AND ASSEMBLY
Project year : 2022
Group project: Evgenia Dickins, Melisa Ozyurek, Karan Pirgal
Software: Rhino, Grasshopper
The main objective is to understand Topology Optimization (T.O.) and to build an Optimized structure of an Arch, by designing a suitable mortar free brick for the structure. The structure is to be built using a UR10 Robotic Arm and with help of Parametric modeling tools and software such as Rhino 7, Grasshopper, and Grasshopper plug ins Robots, PhysX & Millipede. The objective of this project is to target and investigate a non-human client and design a structure that acommodates both human and non-human clients, in Hilbre island in West Liverpool.
The particular client is the water and movement. To capture the patterns of movement and interactions with water, I study the movement of seaweed as a delicate form of life, which instantly interacts with tidal patterns, growth etc.
By capturing its different states of movement, I start noticing how these different states can be transalted in spaces.

THE SLOPE ON THE STRAND | HOUSING PROJECT
Project year : 2022
Personal project Software: Rhino, Lumion, Photoshop, Indesign Other mediums: Physical models, handrawing
In this project will investigate buildings for housing typologies for the city of Liverpool. What are the appropriate typologies for contemporary living? How can they be integrated within the urban fabric? How can we overcome the barrier between in and outdoor activities?
The investigation begins with looking into common UK housing typologies. UK houses consist mostly of compact spaces, which very usually involve communal living.
The centre of Liverpool, specifically, is mostly inhabited by students and student accomodations can be found all around. This project tends to divert from that type of temporary living conditions.
Intentions:
- Mixed use building that will coordinate work, community and culture.
- A typology that will centre around the views and the effect of the surrounding environment.
- Non-temporary living. Targeting people that look for permanent solutions, ideally in different age groups.
-Encouraging community without engaging in communal living.
VOXELISED VENICE | A NEW AGE ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITE
Project year : 2022
Software: Rhino, Grasshopper, Lumion, Photoshop, Indesign Other mediums: Physical models, handrawing
The world is in a stage of fast changing climates and environments. Among other issues, coastal floodings are affecting the livilihood of many people, and destruction of ctites and historical sites.
In the year 2100, where the city of Venice, Italy in completely unihabited and flooded up to 5 metres, I am introducing a strategy to create an urban scale museum, in the extreme scenario where a city is becoming a relic, or a museum to itself.
This thesis project is, what I like to call, a New-age archeaology site, as archeological sites are conditioned to a state of destruction and abadonment, and this project has a similar approach. In this case, instead of years of soil and dust covering drowning the site, it will be covered in water.
