I am passionate and enthusiastic about creative graphic designs. Through constantly challenging myself and striving for the best, I aspire to an inspiration to others through my work creative work. Upon graduating from a Diploma in Graphic Design, my working experience both locally and overseas (Singapore) has given me the opportunity to express and sharpen my creativity through collaborating with a portfolio of notable clients including Chanel, Gucci, Ray-Ban, Hasbro, Toys R Us, BabyLove diapers and etc. I have always been a firm believer in continuous improvement. In order to relentlessly upskill myself, I am currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design. As a self-starter, I have taken initiative to enroll in Graphic Design competitions to bring my Degree studies into practice. Among the memorable competitions include a) b) c)

LO GO DE S I G NS Top / To give the multipurpose knuckle duster a logo providing a sense of powerful and bold identity.

Bottom / The logo is inspired by the movie/novel “Sherlock Holmes” where the characters portray the theme of “classic gentleman” reflected through British culture. Key dress components include the basic smoke-pipe, top hat and monocle.

PAT T E RN E X P L O RAT I ON In my spare time, I love exploring new ideas. Recently, I applied my curiosity in Marbling Effect where experimented this with olive oil, acrylics, fabric dye and different type of papers.

I find the process enjoyable because the results of this are unique and cannot be replicated.

S HO K U RA KU F OOD T R U C K B R A N D I NG The concept of this food truck which revolves around the dining experience of Izakaya. The main theme of the restaurant focuses on “happiness in every bite”.

The logo encompasses elements of Japanese and Chinese calligraphy where the traditional Oriental culture is retained with a modern twist.

LIAN G HI ANG RE BRA N D I N G Liang Hiang Sdn Bhd was established 30 years ago. As such, the Company aspires to have a “face lift” in branding with a balanced mix of its original roots with a modern image to appeal to various age groups both young and old.

Green has been the primary color theme to create the image of nostalgic theme with a modern twist. To complement the theme, this project also utilizes Risograph and digital printing.

M O O N C A KE PA C KA GI N G D E SI G N The conventional Mid-Autumn Festival mooncake packaging has always been red. I have experimented with my own interpretation of this

through compacting Chinese and Japanese motifs to highlight the key meaning of the festival i.e. reunion and togetherness.

IBM PR O MO T IO NAL V I D E O The main objective is to design PureApplication System training video for IBM Malaysia. I experimented with various cinematographic method to ensure the video is exciting, interactive and relatable so that it creates

long lasting impression to its viewers which will ultimately gain popularity. I achieved this through emphasizing on common relatable items (routines & objects) which builds the instant connections to the viewers.

U M OB I L E SI M PA C K D E S I G N The design aims to target 15 - 23 years old through a simplistic and minimalistic but yet innovative packaging and design. The main theme explores the notion of youth and Memphis art via social cultural trends. At the same time it also captivates

the itended audience visual attention during the SIM purchase decision making process. Bold and wide range of colours were used to represent characteristics of the youth, integration of trend, cleverness and functionality.

Anonymous printed newsletter acts as a feature magazine highlighting anonymous designers. This is to increase the designers’ exposure towards a wider audience so as to benefit them in kick starting their careers.
