Projects in Tanzania: Scholarships for craftsmen. Budget $ 300/year/person: Young men from bad grades without the possibility of further education can get a three year of education as a carpenter. After three years of education (with ceretificate), we provide them with their tools as a capital to start their own business.

Scholarships for girls. Budget $ 300/year/woman: Young girls from bad corps, orphans, single mothers are offered a twoyear tailoring course with final exam and certificate. After the course they receive a sewing machine as initial capital.

Scholarships for home-grown children from Peters House to Secondary School. Budget $ 200/year/child: The children who pass primary school, i.e. Standard 7 with an average of C are allowed to go to the state’s Secondary Schools, where no education fee is required but only a separate payment for books, materials etc..

Scholarships for non-resident children from Peters House to Secondary-/High School. Budget $ 500 - 1000/year. The children who pass primary school i.e. Standard 7 with an average of AB are referred to secondary schools outside the area they live in or private boarding schools with better teaching facilities. In both cases there is a student fee for the tuition

Scholarships for orphans to Diploma. Budget $ 1250/year: For young people who have completed the course - div.C - through Form 4. Diploma lasts three years and is minimum requirement for civil servants.

Scholarships for orphans to Bachelor. Budget $ 1250/year. For young people who have passed the medium - div. A or B - through Form 6. Bachelor lasts three years and is an International Degree, which can lead to a Master. Here our help normally stops as we consider them to be able to finance further training through work.
