I grew up in a family business. By the time I started working here, Jerrol’s had been around for over 30 years. I never thought of Jerrol’s as a privilege. I was taught by my parents that owning a business is a responsibility and an honor. I believe how I conduct myself and manage Jerrol’s is a direct reflection on my grandparents, Don & Irene Williams, who started Jerrol’s in their front yard in 1947. It was located where the stop sign is now on the corner of our East parking lot at C St & University Way. My conduct also represents my respect for my parents, Jerry and Annette, and all the people just like you who have worked and patronized Jerrol’s over the past 70 years. You have helped create and support the legacy with which I have been entrusted. This line of thought has served me well. It makes me think through decisions and makes the desire to have world class customer service ingrained in every fiber of my body. How could we do anything less?
Our Core Values

We change continually to meet our Client and Team’s needs because we know that we need to do things differently today if we want different results tomorrow. That is why we LOVE your suggestions!
When I think of how hard everyone has worked to create Jerrol’s and the sacrifices they made to grow this business that has spanned three generations - and 70 years - I am humble, grateful and honored. June 21st will be the official 70th anniversary and we will celebrate with our tradition of giving away cups of ice cream to all who stop by. We are also celebrating the opening of the new furniture showroom in The Room by hosting the Chamber of Commerce Friday Morning Coffee Club on June 2nd, 9-10 am. We invite all business to join us. The entire month you have a chance to enter a drawing to win a Lorell office chair valued at $379.00 just by visiting the showroom. You’re Invited to Our 70th Anniversary Party!! My grandparents, Don & Irene Williams, opened the doors of Jerrol’s for the VERY first time 70 years ago—Saturday June 21, 1947. We were named Jerrol’s Handy Stop at that time. The same neon sign that is over our doors today was on top of that first building. That 18’ long sign is as long as the original store was wide!

Fun Jerrol’s Facts
Jerrol’s has been located in two separate buildings, always on the corner of D St and University Way
The first Jerrol’s building was added onto two separate times.
The second Jerrol’s building has had four additions.
Rolf’s office sits in the exact location where his Dad, Jerry Williams, flipped hamburgers in the 1950’s. You can still see where the grill vent went into the ceiling.
Our 2017 Office Supply catalog contains Tuna Fish, Hard Hats, Stethoscopes, Carpet Cleaners, Bathroom Tissue, and Comet. All of which, if ordered by 4pm, arrives the next business day.
The name Jerrol’s was created by Rolf’s Grandparents Done & Irene Williams. They combined the first 3 letters from each of their sons names, JERry & ROLf for Jerrol and added an apostrophe S for ownership to end up with Jerrol’s. We have sold everything from used cars to a full pet department with fish, birds and reptiles.
Our book, The Unfinished History of Jerrol’s From Ice Cream and Pies to Office Supplies contains the name of over 210 people who have been part of the Jerrol’s Team over the years.
The most expensive item on our menu in the 1940’s was the Cube Steak Special for 75 cents.
At one point there was a store parrot.
Our current building is 15,000 sq feet. The first building was only 540 sq feet.
Our first computer was an Apple IIe purchased for $2,000 in 1978.
Corrie’s Craft of the Month Picture Holders
If you're looking for something simple for the kids to make for Father's Day, look no further. Here is a great photo holder made out of a ruler and some bulldog clips. Perfect for hanging at home or at the office. Here's what you'll need: A wooden ruler 3 bulldog clips 3 brads A drill Ribbon or string Hot glue and glue gun 1. Drill 3 holes in the ruler. One in the middle and two on the ends. (Our Jerrols's rulers already have one hole so you only have to drill 2) 2. Using a brad attach the each clip to the ruler using the holes you just drilled. Open the brad on the backside of the ruler and then fold the ends back in so they don't show. 3. Cut your ribbon or string and hot glue a loop to hang it. 4. Attach some pictures to the clips and you are done. Enjoy. Hope you have a wonderful Father's Day!
