It has been a long journey. For the past twenty-seven months we have been working on the building expansion with the Winegar’s location. Seventeen months of planning and designing, five and half months of actual construction and four and half of mop up and completion of all the little things that needed to be completed. As of Friday, June 26th our last major project related to the expansion was finished. The pavers around the entrance to Winegar’s were laid just in time for our 68th anniversary on the 21st, and the landscape trees and rock along C St and University Way are finished. The final pavement was laid earlier in June and the east parking lot has been seal-coated and striped. I still have a long list of things to get done related to the project like repairing and painting the east side of the building blue to match the new color scheme, upgrading the neon Jerrol’s sign to LED and getting it painted, rocking our east planters to match the porch seating area, painting the metal trim on the new building and on and on. In the middle of planning the expansion I read the book Steal Like an Artist by Austin Kleon which had this diagram in it. While their outcome is a little harsh, the over all concept is about right as most people who have taken on a big project can relate to!! I created my own version of it that I am glad to share, just ask. -Rolf P.S. You can contact me any time at 509 925-9851 or 800 858-2427, my cell 509 899-0120, or email Rolf@Jerrols.com.

Ok, this one is pretty self explanatory. Grab some permanent markers like sharpie and sharpie oil based paint markers and go for it. Makes it harder to lose them and it gives you a chance to show off your personality!! Have fun and enjoy! You can reach Corrie at Corrie@Jerrols.com
