Life’s Reflections

Mr. Albert Calvin Bailey, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, was born on November 5, 1941, in Tunica, Mississippi, to his late parents, Mr. Albert Bailey and Vanilla White Bailey. He accepted Christ at an early age, laying the foundation for a life filled with faith and love.

On October 15, 1966, Albert married the love of his life, Sadie Robinson. Together, they built a family rooted in love and respect, and “AC,” as he was affectionately called, became a pillar of strength and support for his loved ones. Known for his loving, laid-back demeanor, he was a caring, family-oriented man who always put his family first. To the children at the daycare center, he was affectionately known as “Grandpa,” a title he wore proudly as he shared his warmth and kindness with them.

He was preceded in death by one son, Frederick Robinson Sr., one brother, Charles Lee Bailey, and one sister, Mary Fleming.

On Wednesday, December 4, 2024, “AC” concluded his earthly journey and was called home to be with the Lord. His presence will be deeply missed, but his loving memories will forever be cherished by his beloved wife, Sadie Bailey; his children, Donna Mathews, Tony Bailey (Otha), and Beverly Willoughby; as well as his siblings, Virginia Wright (Rev. Odell), Peggy McVay (Randy), Lee Gray (Larry), Christine Edwards, George Bailey, Benny Bailey (Laura), and Nananetta Bailey, he leaves his grandson, Travis, his trusted and beloved caregiver, his favorite sister-in-law Doris Paylor, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

AC’s legacy of love and compassion lives on in the hearts of all who knew him. May he rest in peace, embraced by the love of family and the grace of God.
