Augustus Oliver Echols, Jr. (Lil Gus) was born to Joyce Arnold & Augustus Oliver Echols, Sr. on September 30, 1981, in Memphis TN. He departed this life on June 4, 2018.

Augustus accepted Christ at an early age at New Salem Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Frank E. Ray, Sr. He later united with New Hope Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Hosie Hopkins, Sr. Augustus was preceded in death by his father. Augustus Oliver Echols, Sr, grandparents, Robert & Ernabell Echols, & Winston H. Arnold, Sr. On Thursday, June 7, 2018, God called his grandmother, Callie Mae Arnold home to be at rest with her grandson. He leaves to cherish his memories his loving and devoted mother, Joyce Ann Arnold, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends.

Sadly missed along life’s way, Quietly remembered every day… No longer in our life to share, But in our hearts you’re always there.
