Bryant Cox, Sr.
The Life of began May 17, 1957, in Memphis, Tennessee. He was one of six children from the union of Ella Mary Cox and Frank Jesse Cox Sr. (of which three proceeded him in death). He accepted Christ at a young age and played the organ at Moscow Church of God and Christ.

He graduated from Fayette-Ware High School in 1975. He also attended classes at Shelby State Community College. In 1977 he joined the United States Navy, where he served our country faithfully for 20 years. After his retirement in 1997, he began his career as a long-distance truck driver. The Henson Trucking Company most recently employed him. Bryant leaves to honor and cherish his memory two children, Lashanda (Cox) Anderson (Christopher) of Jacksonville, Florida, and Bryant Cox, Jr. (Natalie) of Jacksonville, Florida, four grandchildren whom he LOVED dearly; Brianna Cox, Jasmine Fuller, Aryanna Cox and Christopher Anderson, Jr. He also leaves to mourn his memory, his brother Frank J. Cox Jr., sisters, Gloria C. Armstrong (David Armstrong), and Annie B. Holt, a host of nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends. “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness…” 2 Timothy 4:7-8
