“I Made It” I made it home. I just wanted you to know I’m home. Everything is so pretty here, so white, so fresh and so new. I want you to close your eyes for a moment so you can see it too. Please try not to be sad, but try to understand. God is taking care of me, I’m in the shelter of His hands. Here there is no sadness, no sorrow, no crying and no more pain. It is so peaceful listening to all the angels sing. I am just gone for now, but I’ll be the first face you see when you join me!

Love Mom

Wonderful Mother by: Nedra God made a wonderful mother, A mother who never grows old; He made her smile of the sunshine. And He moulded her heart of pure gold; In her eyes He placed bright shining stars, In her cheeks fair roses you see; God made a wonderful mother, And He gave that dear mother to me.

If Roses Grow In Heaven If roses grow in Heaven Lord Please pick a bunch for me. Place them in my Daughter’s arms and tell her they’re from me. Tell her that I love and miss her and when she turns to smile, Place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for a while. Because remembering her is easy, I do it every day. But there is an ache within my heart that will never go away.

I Love You, Mom

“She Is Gone” By David Harkins

You can shed tears that she is gone or you can smile because she has lived. Your heart can be empty because you can’t see her or you can be full of the love you shared. You can remember her and only that she’s gone or you can cherish her memory and let it live on. Love, George

“Inspirational Love” You were an inspiration to many and a confidant to most... The life that you lived was rewarding, Yet you did not boast... You have left a legacy and a blueprint for many to use... Hearts and minds are lifted in love...Not filled with blues... Love You, From Sharon

Our Beloved Sister We little knew the day that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, In death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you But you didn’t go alone. For part of us went with you The day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories. Your love is still our guide, And though we cannot see you You are always at our side. Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one the chain will link again.

Love, Your Sisters & Brothers

Callie Mae Lockhart Porter J u l y 3 , 1951 - A pril 23, 2021

“For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.”

C

II Timothy 4:6-8

allie Mae Porter was born on July 3, 1951 in Shelby, MS to the late R.G. Lockhart and Louvenia Caldwell.

Reflections

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.”

Psalms 23
