Cayln Antonio McLemore
SPC. was born on September 12, 1992, in Memphis, Tennessee to Wallace Nelson and Carolyn McLemore. He was the second born of five children; Carolyn J. McLemore, Corey Williams (deceased), Cura McLemore, and Cortne Morris. He loved his sisters and brother and often took on the leadership role to help provide for his family. He shared a special bond with all of his family and friends. Cayln accepted Christ at the tender age of seven. He graduated Melrose High School in 2010, eager to join the workforce. He quickly gained employment at Kroger; then he began training for the Army. He enlisted in the Army in 2011 and received many of awards during his tenure, which included the Army Achievement Award. He was very loving, supportive, dedicated, generous, intelligent, dependable, and always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He loves to see others happy. In one of his last phone conversations, he proclaimed his belief in God. He stated, “where ever I’d go; I know God will protect me.” He stood firm in his beliefs, and he lived his life as a hardworking and God-fearing man. Cayln’s memories will be forever cherished by his loving mother, Caroyln McLemore, sisters, Carolyn J. McLemore, Cura McLemore and Cortne Morris, his father, Wallace Nelson, his grandparents, Mattie Stewart and James Jones and a host of other relatives and friends.
