Auntie,
We can no longer see you with our eyes, but we feel you in our hearts. Your laugh will continue to echo through our ears forever. Now, all of our moments are memories. Yes, we’re grateful, but we’re hurting knowing there will be no more. However many tomorrows there are left, We will miss you in every way. We love you with every piece of our broken hearts. -Nieces and Nephews

Life’s Reflections
Debra
Diane Jackson was born in Memphis, Tennessee, on September 5, 1954. She was the middle girl and the third of six children of Martha Ford and Robert Ford Sr.
Debra accepted Christ at a young age and had a personal relationship with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Debra graduated from Hamilton High School in 1972. She attended Shelby State Community College and then Memphis State University, where she pledged to Delta Sigma Theta.
She loved to bake and shop and would always be out if a sale was on! She loved having a good time and spending time with her grandkids.
Debra departed this life on April 26, 2024. She leaves to mourn her death by her mother, Martha Ford; sisters, Evelyn Conard and Essie Perkins; brothers, Wayne Ford and Ricky Ford; two sons, Eric Jackson and Julius Jackson Jr., and four grandchildren, LJ, Jayla, Jace, and Jade; and a host of cousins and friends.
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.”
To Ms. Reliable, Better Known as Mom,
Firstly, I never really understood writing these because you are no longer here to read them, but I hope you can somehow read them when you can or feel/know how special you are to all of us. Secondly, I apologize for not telling you while you were here. I appreciate you helping out with your grandkids, whether running around to pick them up from school, taking them to practice, or bringing them to church. That was indeed a help to me. I always said thank you, but I don’t think I told you how much I appreciated you doing those things. You did a lot for others even if you didn’t want to sometimes. You were an amazing mom. Eric and I love you and truly miss your presence, but we are also truly grateful that the good Lord let us have you for as long as he did. You loved your grandkids, and your grandkids loved you, too, especially Jayla. She said she doesn’t have anyone here to teach her how to cook anymore... I guess I’ll have to show her my way and try not to add too much seasoning and salt to it. I’ll see you when I see you, Mom. I love you so much!
and
life with you. Until we meet again, your mom loves you.
