On December 29, 1953, God blessed the world and the city of Memphis with an angel by the name of Diane Ann Kilpatrick. She is the daughter of the late Lester Clayton Kilpatrick and Angelina Jones.
At an early age, Diane accepted the care of Christ, the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and the love of God to be with her always. Diane was part of the graduating Class of 1971 from Melrose High School. Her hobbies in life included gardening, cooking, singing the blues and listening to some good soulful music, but her most enjoyable moments of life was spending time having fun and fellowship with her dear family and friends.
On Saturday, May 4, 2019, Diane’s earthly mission was completed and she was called home by her Heavenly Father to the grand reunion. She is reunited with her parents; Lester Clayton Kilpatrick, Sr., and Angelino Jones, her sister, and brothers; Lester C. Kilpatrick, Jr., Betty Kilpatrick, and Eddie Kilpatrick, her grandparents, John Willie Jones, Ethel Mae Jones, Jim Kilpatrick & Ardean Kilpatrick, her aunts and uncles; Bessie Howell, Pairlee Ingram, Richard Kilpatrick, and John Kilpatrick, and her maternal aunts and uncles; Melissa Dawson, Jane Davis, Thesther Cooper, Dorothy Rodgers, James Jones and Johnnie Jones.
Her memories will continue by her son and daughter; Vaurice and Cassandra Hill, four loving grandchildren; Octavius Hill, Kaliyiah Hill-Sanders, Minyone Hill and Shauna Hill, two greatgrandchildren; Miley Hill and Layla Hill, three aunts; Kitty (Steve) Tate, Ruby Johnson, and Ethel (Stanley) Edgerton, niece and nephews; Stephanie (Keith) Lee and Terrika Kilpatrick, a great-niece, Kenya Lee, great-nephews; Terrance Taylor, Keith Lee, Jr., and Nicholus Lee, and a host of other friends and family.
